* Dean Lonegran and Matt Rose at loggerheads after Liam Wilson defected from
D & L to No Limit.
* Paul Gallen torn bicep . Fight off with Mark Hunt. This was going to be main support
to Tszyu Dec fight. Rose had Bankwest in mind and now looking for a smaller venue.

 

I could be wrong but it appears Daniel Lewis' insta account isn't up anymore.

He always looked to be fit and in training.

Obviously it's a big decision for him and his family..wish him all the best.

 

Whatever happened to us doing a shoey for Lewie?

He appears to have been keen on a fight with Junior Tszyu up until the time it was offered to him. Now he's retired. Wtf?

Horndog's up there in Brisbane pondering retirement also.

Dennis Hogan wants to fight on PBC promotions in America & Michael Zerafa wants to fight Anthony Mundine.

Fair dinkum. I thought our blokes were made of sterner stuff than that.

 

Not sure what's going on behind the scenes Sandman.

Maybe he copped an injury, maybe some family issues, maybe he did the sums and with Covid stifling the careers of many boxers for at least the next 12 months perhaps he needed to support his family in other ways.

Dont know why you would avoid Tszyu, not talking about Lewie in particular but Hogs and MZ aswell..he is starting look formidable but he still has a way to go..clearly he is the cash fight right now in Oz and all 3 of those guys are in with a big chance against him.

Would Kid Tszyu as the main support to Parker vs Fa over the detch be viable??

Might open up the card to the Aussie market a bit more and showcase Tim to a new audience in NZ.

 

From a promoters/TV perspective to sell you would push Zerafa v Tim, the background with the horn can be used to promote. To sell boxing in Aus it has to sell to the casuals. No one has a clue or cares who Lewis is to sell.

 

I'm surprised there ain't more "Ditch" cards happening WAR to tell the truth mate , it seems every other card down under is PPV surely some promoter could jump on an Oz v Nz promotion and earn , not only that but it would pave the way for some fighters knowing they've cleaned house in two of the southern hemispheres more stronger nations onto the world stage , I keep harping on about it but the commonwealth title ain't being used as a gateway anymore .

 

I would PPV Tyzsu v Zerafa , I know boxing don't work this way but the sport OWES Mick a few quid after the second Horn fight i reckon .

 

It's a sad state of affairs in Aus. Put a set of gloves on a couple Rugby League players who would get knocked out by our grand mothers get PPV and big dollars for a **** show due to the gullible that think they are super heroes. Actual fighters don't get a look in. Once crowds are alowed back in it will be 50 year old Barry Hall v some Turd and they will pack the stands

 

I blame the rugby refs , they should just let um get it on during match time , when I stopped after my kids arrived aged about 28 I'd had all the hidings I could handle and the last thing I would have wanted was to step in a ring , lol

Good to see fighters exposing Glenn Rushton as a total clown as he was the one who called Kim a weight loss guy despite him being way more credentialed in boxing than Rushton himself.
