Love the Hogan fight for Tszyu. Makes perfect sense in the current environment. Hogan is a stern test for Tim. If he does however blow Hogan out of the water I think anything less than a big name/title shot would be a disappointment next up.

Brock Jarvis is now ranked number six by the IBF at featherweight. Very keen to see what comes next for him.

Great to see Justis Huni down in Canberra at the AIS training.

Being cooped up in Queensland all the time probably isn't very good for him. They're a bit backwards up there, you know.

Get him breathing some of that fresh brindabellas air into his lungs before he heads back up to Townsville to stomp some heads.

I hope those amateur boxing officials are able to make themselves useful & line up some decent sparring for him while he's there.

I mean, we've got a once in a lifetime opportunity here to win an Olympic gold medal (in the Super H/W division no less). Now is the time to break open the piggy bank & go for it.

If they want to bask in the glory of winning an Olympic gold medal, they're going to have to work smart (and spend money) in order to make it happen.

I think 8 pro fights is the limit people are allowed to have. Huni has fought twice so far & is scheduled to fight six times before the Olympics.

The bloke from Uzbekistan has already fought 7 times, so he's about done. The bloke from Kazakhstan has fought twice.

The way things are going, there won't be an Olympics. Covid-19 is ramping up in Japan & the people there don't want it.

TEN .......? ffs , I can't see the reasoning behind that if I'm being totally honest mate, dangerous also imo , the lot of them should turn pro and be done with it & the people of Japan are right not wanting their country invaded and rising their R number into the stratosphere like this shower of s hi t has done here . Coming up to 100,000 deaths here lads , stay safe

Without looking it up I had the number 8 in my head but maybe you're right & it's 10.

Agree it's very silly. I think it emanates from the amateur boxing organisation no longer considering itself as an amateur body. To make it even more confusing, I don't think they're running the Olympic tournament anyway (if it goes ahead).

I'm hoping the games do go ahead but obviously community safety in Japan comes first. I had planned to take some time off work to watch us win our first ever Olympic boxing gold medal.

Very confident young Justis will do well if it goes ahead.

There’s no limit. Hassan N’dam Njikam boxed at Rio with about 30 pro bouts to his ledger.

Incidentally Huni’s next two fights have been shelved due to concussion.

Bad and bizarre news for Huni. Derails his momentum a bit.

Not good for a boxer to have a head injury.

Timmy Tool Train v Dennis Hogan is on Wednesday 31 March. Venue TBD between Newie, Gold Coast or Sydney.

The Tool Train has already run over a former WBO Welter champ. Now he's going after a former uncrowned WBO Jr Middle champ.

I think the fight can be summed up in two words....Irishman down!
