Don't give Mundine or Green any ideas about moving up to HW and fighting Browne. It's Australian boxing.. You can't rule it out.
Lenny Z is at Welterweight now he called out Jeff Horn after he won the other night I reckon he should fight Ben Horn first.
lol imagine Mundine v Browne both just standing there looking at eachother for 10 rounds both too shot to pull the trigger...
Not really impressed by Brock Jarvis he is huge for the weight and only seems to have a plan A just march forward punching he will get KO’d when he steps up. He doesn’t really have much power he just bullies smaller guys he is lucky Beauchamp wasn’t a big puncher he might have been in trouble tonight.
He was at Junior Lightweight last night I think. The fighter he reminds me of is Lester Ellis so that's probably the right weight division for him. They're talking world title shot soon but what about facing all the other good Junior Lightweights in this country first? Paul Fleming, Liam Wilson & even Bruno Tarimo (who's really a Super Bantam) would all give him tough fights. Heaven forbid that an Australian fighter should actually face all the other good fighters in & around his weight division before embarking on a world campaign. I love the intensity and conditioning that he brings, but he can be hit (like he was last night) & I've seen him hurt before. Good conditioning goes out the window if your head gets scrambled like an egg. Good win for the Headsplitter. He was composed & measured last night which was pleasing to see. His natural physical strength & punching power would pose problems for someone like Michael Zerafa but he needs to improve his skills to compete effectively at a higher level. The last couple of opponents have been good for him & he continues to improve. I only saw bits & pieces of the Australian Junior Featherweight title fight. It looked very even from what I saw but resulted in a TKO win for TC Priestly. At H/W, Arsene Fosso isn't in the shape he was in when he faced Justis Huni & was gassed after three rounds against James Porter. Porter for his part, soaked up the punishment early & outworked Fosso late. Split decision to Fosso in that one. The first fight of the night was very scrappy & ended prematurely in a technical draw after one of the fighters was badly cut. Michael Hall was in the ascendency when it ended.
His prep couldn’t have gone better mate. He was stopping guys in sparring and that was when he was sparring fresh guys a round at a time. Sadly, the wars have caught up and the punch resistance is gone. Haven’t spoken to him about his future, that’ll come in time. He’s having some time with his family now.
Looks like hes taking the jeff fenech path, outsize your opponents and weight bully them on the inside untill they crumble. Worked for jeff untill he got older and outgrew the weights.
I actually briefly thought to myself that Jarvis-Beauchamp was going to be a like a $2 shop version of Fenech-Hamed.
This content is protected Parr needs to hang the gloves up badly. He's totally shot. Reflexes are just gone.
According to Parr he has 5 x fights left on his contract with onefc financially it will be harder to say goodbye with those semi decent pay days. He shouldve finished on the mundine win imo.
Thanks for clearing up, I guess it's just disappointment in how much of a train wreck it was. Atleast he got 1 last pay day
