Won't be getting on the MP train but have to agree with the sentiment.

It's a nothing fight that doesn't move Horn's career forward one inch.

Mundine's last start was at cruiserweight.

Does Horn want to be a world class fighter or a novelty act?

 

When you got a lemon lads you squeeze it , Choc still squeezing Aussie lemons after all these years this fella has played his career and Australia perfectly over the years fair goes .good on him now if Horn had any sense he does the same , if I was him I'd have signed a three fiğht deal with young Anthony..LMAO

 

The only negative for Horn in taking the fight with Mundine is if he lost which is unlikely and I imagine there is plenty of fighters wishing they had the chance to make the money Horn could make especially co-promoting the event.
It's all about making as much as you can while you can and fighting Mundine in maybe his last fight seems a no brainer with no fights currently that will make him close to as much $.
While a Mundine fight won't move Horn up the rankings it's a solid enough comeback fight that keeps him relevant and 1-2 wins away from another title shot and/or Pacquio rematch.

I agree it doesn't move Horn forward but after only just losing his 1st fight and title to 1 of the top P4P guys who can blame him if his comeback fight is a bit of a novelty act before taking on higher ranked fighters.

Even if he get back to world title level there isn't many fights for him outside of a Pacquio rematch that will make as much money as this fight will if he is co promoting
