Looks like Breidis is fighting Mann next so not sure who Opetaia is going to be fighting.
Heard a rumour Tim Tszyu is announcing his next fight today can anyone confirm?

Most likely for Opetaia it will be better not to have Briedis fight on short notice.
For Briedis you definitely need at least 2 months notice before fight. He is old and rusty but imagine how in reality Usyk barely ( I do not mean commentators and other fans noise here ) scrapped razor close win vs Briedis ( I suspect if then Briedis was with germans, Usyk did not had get decision here at all, fight was too close ) when Usyk was in prime shape, with Klits as fans and support who had sparred vs Briedis a lot and with help from Loma : with long notice.

Briedis ofc now is old, rusty, look what old post surgeries Briedis had did vs Glowacki and how looked vs him Dorticos even when he more than 12 months knew that he will fight vs Briedis?
I think if Opetaia might generate enough money, he might get real chances to have next fight vs Briedis relatively soon.
If Briedis will beat Mann ( I should even see how rusty Briedis will look vs Mann ) and Opetaia might have good offer, I think he might get fight, why not.

Opetaia should not clinch vs Briedis. He is far more stronger than ppl might assume from his fights since 2014th ( looks that even then had some fights delayed due to hands problems ) and he looks that usually does not press for KO if he thinks that he will win on cards.
Even vs Dorticos he rarely used fight with 100% punches. While he does have good chin and gas tank I suspect even for 15 rounder, not alone 12 rounds.
Briedis hates movers with good and fast footwork even if these does not hit him hard.

Some decent stoushes being lined up for the Tszyu v Inoue undercard.

    Looks like it could be a festival of Junior Middles - Wade Ryan 19-9 (7) v Ben Mahoney 11-0 (6) & Joel Camilleri 20-6-1 (8) v Wes Capper 22-4-1 (13).

I slightly favour the former Tszyu opponents to win but they're both well matched fights.

It will be the best year of Wade Ryan's professional career if he knocks off the undefeated Mahoney. He went 3 and 0 in his debut year as a pro but all by decision. He's 2 and 0 with 2 kayos this year against higher quality opposition. Won't be easy popping Mahoney's balloon up there in Queensland with Queensland officials but we'll see.

Browne lined up for Babic apparently.

I wonder how much his stipend will be this time for his predictable "performance".

I used to like Browne in his day but he really wasted every ones time with the Paul Gallen fight such a weak performance he really should be embarrassed but he has no shame still posts non stop flexing on social media. I still believe if he had trained the house down he could have easily beaten Gallen.

I got $100 on Usyk at $3.09 with sportsbet. If I win I am thinking of chucking a decent amount on Helenius to beat the fat blob Kownacki again Helenius is $3.14 with sportsbet. What are your thoughts boyo's?

I liked Browne as well, he made the most of his limited skills. But he's very quickly turned into an unlikable character(at least professionally) all of the pull outs, and embarrassing performances in the ring have pretty much reduced him to a joke. I know some of this is probably due to age, personal issues, and just losing interest with the sport, but if that's the case.... just retire dude.

An Usyk win is a good result for me. Not counting on it though. It will provide some ammo for follow-up fights if he wins.

Helenius v Kownacki is a straight-out gamble. No idea who wins in light of what happened last time. Kownacki easy to hit but can fight a bit, Helenius can punch but can no longer fight. Ummm, don't know on that one.
