He's been on evening news bulletins in the lead-up to this fight, is in the sports pages of the newspapers, is getting massive coverage on Foxtel in terms of promos & when I got into my car yesterday afternoon heading back from the mall & flicked on the radio they were interviewing him.

I'm a big Timmy Tool Train fan but even that was a bit too much for me. I think people are getting desperate for a world boxing champion & there's clearly a view amongst the mainstream sports public & media that he represents our best chance.

Yeah I agree I am a Tszyu fan but the media lays it on too thick you would think he is a undisputed pound 4 pound champion with the way they carry on. But this is what the dumb Aussie media does they did the same with Danny Green, Jeff Horn and to a lesser extent Mundine who also copped a lot of negative media attention. Geale actually unified at middleweight and didn't get anywhere near the amount of attention as Tszyu is getting now. It is all about marketing I suppose Tszyu and Mundine were already big names so was easy for the media to run with it.

Kambosos is fighting for undisputed at lightweight and hardly any coverage. I actually think that he is going to beat Lopez by late stoppage. But aside from that Tsyzu is by far the biggest name in Aussie boxing. Paul Gallen is probably second LOL.

What we are basically trying to say is that Tim Tszyu has about the same popularity in Australia has Danny Santiago had in the the States around 2011-2012.

Yep Santiago was a big name in the States it is probably Grinning Greenies most underrated win.

It's a disgrace that Danny Santiago isn't in the International Boxing Hall Of Fame. The kid was a huge star in the sport.

Why is Hogan vs. Browne a 6-rounder, and more importantly why did they not slot it as co-main event? They are easily the biggest two names on the bill domestically after Tszyu, aren't they?

I just really don't want to have to get up before dawn my time can it be helped, but that is the only undercard fight about which I give a rat's ass.

Because they're a couple of oldies who aren't allowed to stay up late anymore. Wade Ryan has been rewarded for many years of being willing to take tough fights for short money as an opponent (Tszyu in a non-PPV, Zerafa, Daniel Lewis). He's fighting an international opponent who was competitive with Inoue last start & holds a regional strap of sorts so that's why. It's also in the Tszyu camp's interests to keep him in action in case they need a southpaw sparring partner for a future fight.

You need to get up early & lead the RBR for this one. People all over the world will be expecting it. Don't let down your Japanese fans! They're expecting 10,000-plus through the gate on the night so it should go off.

Browne is finished mate old Mundine iced him in 2 rounds a few years back this is just a get back fight for Hogan and I imagine it will be very one sided. Wade Ryan v Nwachukwu is the rightful co main it should be a good scrap.
