His last two performances, with two different training teams, were lackluster. He won & successfully defended the Australian title but I think he needed to show more than he did in those fights to justify third parties bankrolling additional fights. I'm speculating. Young blokes need to put their efforts into what's going to be best for them long term. As talented as Andrew Hunt is, maybe that isn't boxing.
Nice card. Respect to iamlay ilsonway for stepping straight back in against Noynay. Can't see it going much different to the first time.
Skye Nicolson will face 3-0 Canadian Bree Howling on the Chocolatito v Martinez DAZN card. Brock Jarvis will face Alejandro Frias 13-5-2 (6KO) on the same card in a rematch.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Frias wins this time as I am not sure Jarvis is capable of making adjustments
Brock is got to get fair dinkum and he can't even lose a minute of this fight. Doesn't matter if it takes him the whole fight to get this bloke out but he has to make a statement. He was fortunate in the last one not to get stopped and I'm glad Frias gets another shot because he would be pretty dirty the ref jumped in like that when he gave Brock the benefit of the doubt in the 2nd. It also gives Brock another chance to erase the bad taste the stoppage may have left whilst reminding the U.S audience how good value he is to watch.
That's another good fight on this show. The Filipino must be licking his lips at the prospect of coming out here again to fight Liam Wilson. Got a feeling he won't be concerned about Queensland judges either.
It will be tough but I reckon Ryan is a chance of winning as he is improving and Hogan didn't look that good against a complete washed Tommy Browne. Agreed certainly taking a risk fighting a home town boy in dodge city.
