Tommy Browne fixing to ride off into the sunset with head held high finishing 2018 at a 3-1 (2) mark and fresh off nabbing a collection of wee belts? Or is he trudging on, chasing another go with Choc?

Did anybody even realize he fought earlier today?

Figured there would be at least a shred of scuttlebutt on it..

 I had to work this morning; besides watching Aussie domestic fights from outside Oz is a fool's errand. Almost better off trying to hunt down South African fights.

One thing I always had the idea of doing was to get all the Australian fighters (including Australian-based fighters) who have won IBF world titles to sign an IBF world championship boxing belt. In gold ink (or something like that).

Seeing that photo with two of them there reminds me of that project. Hopefully I get around to it one day while they are all still with us. Would make a great memorabilia piece.

I remember seeing Lester Ellis v Barry Michael while I was still at school in Melbourne. There's a great documentary on it called "A Melbourne Story". That was a big fight back in the day (but before I had become a rusted on boxing fan).

The fights in Bendigo on 8 Sept between Andrew Moloney 17-0 (10) v Luis Conception 37-6 (26) & Tim Tszyu 10-0 (8) v Marcos Cornejo 19-3 (18) are to be shown live in the US on ESPN+.

Not bad for a country promotion out of central Victoria.

I wonder if they will have Teddy Atlas doing analysis back in the studio?

Teddy reckons Moloney by "bushranger robbery" while Tszyu wins by kayo with a "lucky punch".

Moloney vs. El Nica is a corker, doubt the scorecards become an issue either way, if you catch my drift.

Another Aussie bum beaten to a pulp overseas, when's the welfare of these bum fighters going to take centre stage.

Fights multiple malnourished Thai kids along the way to get a 20-0 record...... steps up to fight a half decent fighter overseas and gets beaten to a pulp. The list is endless.

The FAB 4 calls it every single time. These Aussie bum fighters records don't fool us. Records mean absolutely nothing in boxing. What matters is who you have defeated and who has defeated you. Someone could be 14-10 but a better fighter than someone 10-0.

The Fab 4 have spotted so many Aussie Bums, it would make Molly Meldrum blush..

Your work on exposing the level of bummery in Aussie boxing is appreciated fellas.

Lucas Browne to be the smaller & younger man in the ring for once, taking on Julius Long on September 28th in Broadbeach.

What about Logan Dale Artango who defeated Porky Brooke for Aust LW Title . With his flashy style fast hands and the ability to ko an opponent in reg fashion he deserves a mention .

    Interesting perspective from GKJ:

    https://www.boxingnewsandviews.com/...ing-pacquiao-before-matthysse-and-horn-fight/

Nutshell, he says that Pac in camp for Matthysse >>>> Pac in camp for Horn. Was much happier & seemed hungrier, sharper in sparring, and paced himself better. George says even he was burnt out after the Horn camp and he's a strapping young man in his mid 20's, as opposed to an upjumped 38 year old flyweight battling at welter.
