Ya, I think his hand seems fine during the fight. And I don’t like his chances against anybody in the top 10.

Not a bad scrap marred by the awful score.

Is Rueda world class? Tough to say with his inflated record. He was a deer in headlights against Valdez but seemed a bit more plucky here. Wilson ain't in the same league as even a PED free Valdez.

Liam would get massacred by Shakur but hopefully this boost in his ranking puts him into a good spot to pick up a vacated title once Stevenson moves on to bigger fights.

Time for the Butcher to hang the apron up. Expected result but taking Rob out that quick in your second fight is going to put some people on notice.

Hannant-Hodges was one for the ages.:hang

Just watched the fights, Wilson just scraped by in my books but still a good win for him considering 2 fights ago he was stopped.
The butcher has definately had enough time to call it a day, been a good career always tried his heart out.
Aukouso does look like the real deal, I'm biased but I think between linc & Fidel can guide him to a world title.

Why biased? Do you train there? Kid is a huge talent… not sure if I like the idea of trying to win a world title in 6 fights but hey ho.

    * Hornet " Look , there's always the potential of me coming back in but its being almost , what a year and half that i have been out so it would take a lot for me to get back in there ".
    * Terry Nickolas next court appearance in Aug.
    * Liam Paro and Ben Mahoney in training camps in Las Vegas.

Some good performances Wednesday night I thought. Slick Willie Wilson was too slick for the other bloke. Let's see the Paul Fleming fight. If he's going to win a world title he should be good enough to win that.

Paulo Aokuso is a real talent & there are some decent Light Heavies out there for him to climb the ladder quickly against if he's good enough. The Faris Chavalier v Conor Wallace winner tomorrow night being one of them. Or even the loser. And that Kiwi who was out here not long ago & who made a good run at the 2019 World Amateur Championships. No shortage of tough opponents for him. He faced both the gold & silver medalists from the 2019 World Amateur Championships in his first international amateur tournament in qualifying for the Olympics so he likes to set the bar high.

Use to train with Linc. I'm doing the Andy Ruiz now hibernating & getting fat. Top trainer imo, the mark of it to me is who has improved when they've left, rarely happens. 6 fights sounds unrealistic but they have to market it somehow imo, otherwise its hard to get noticed grinding for the next 3-4 years.
Any updates on who Lucas is fighting next?

Btw those comments at the presser from Lonergan were very dissapointing to see on Opetaia’s injuries.
Fought 4 years woth a broken hand and had terrible rib injuries.
Surely it s not a good idea to put that out there.

The rib injury is why it got postponed the 2nd time, so that seemed to be common knowledge.

One of our very own posters broke the news of how it happened because the local media was reporting on it.

Hey boys. Let's put this in perspective. A talented young cruiser with a domestic resume vs a seasoned warrior, who pushed god damn Usyk close. Knocked out heavyweights. Beaten world class Cruisers vs a guy whose best wins are Mark Flanagan, Daniel Amann and Ben Kelleher?

Dunno boys but I can't see it happening.

I want Jai to win hope he does, he is a very good talent & seems like a great guy but I think Briedis is a bridge to far, you can't go into a fight with him with minimal top level experience as stated before his only loss is to Usyk & he was competitive in that also, it should be a good fight for me jai has to start fast & aggressive win the early rounds.
