Should Tim fight a can back home to tune up? Seems a very long time between drinks.

Glad it's next year. Charlo is the best Jr. Middle in the world this year. Timbo Slice wouldn't have beaten him.

Next year, who knows? Whole different story. Time marches on. Also allows plenty of time for Timbo's hands to recover from surgery before he begins what's likely to be a long, hard preparation.

I'm penciling in another Undisputed world championship for Australian boxing around Australia Day next year.

The sound of crunching New South Welshman glass under Queenslander boots is all that can be heard in Suncorp tonight.

Well deserved win for the Canetoads. Would have been one of the great escapes if NSW bagged a try in those last minutes but wasn't to be.
In my 30 years of watching league I don't think I've ever seen a top level team literally hand the ball back and invite the other team to score quite like that. Those low percentage plays inside our 20 when we had a ton of time and only 4 in it, Tupou playing at a ball that didn't need to be played at right before half time to give QLD that try. But some brave defence from the Blues to be in it until the end.

I've come around to this way of thinking Sandman.

I watched an interview of Tim a couple of weeks ago and he had only started to make a proper fist. So some more recovery time won't hurt the young lad.

Will the extra months be kind to the old bull?
    We will see.

Yeah I think that would be a good idea but I think Tszyu is recovering from hand surgery so may not want to risk it.

Kambosos sounding off on Tszyu a bit lately.

I knew their relationship had been frosty for years but they just didn't mention each other and it was fine.
Of course it would have been inevitable that the Aussie media would press the issue and get a reaction.

Tim seemed to take the high road with his response. Praising George to a degree but also defending what he had a achieved.
Perhaps took a little pot shot when he inferred Haney will win the rematch but a lot of people feel that way.

Pampellone should not be operating at CW, he's way too small to be fighting there. He'll get away with fighting the likes of Francis there but he needs to operate at LHW.

Completely agree. I wouldn’t even write off Francis in that one.

Hmmm Francis has improved but I think Pampellone should still have far too much for him. There's a lack of any sort of competition here hence why you see Pampellone fighting in a higher weight class, similar to Light fighting Auamatagi who came up 2 weight classes for it.

Pamps was one to watch for me after the 19 Worlds. He really impressed me there.

Hopefully he can find his sweet spot with his weight. He does look a little sluggish with the extra pounds. He don't want to be messing with these bigger boys for to long.

Probably but from what I’ve seen, Francis can crack a bit. Pampellone doesn’t have significant power at Light Heavy… I can’t see him venturing up to 90kg going too well for him.
