Interesting choice of opponent for Big Daddy.

Good fight if it happens. Both guys have a decent chance. Thought Big Daddy might be lined up as a December opponent for Justis Huni. Not a fight I want to see so kind of glad that's not happening.

I've seen a few articles about sparring partners Tim Tszyu has lined up for when he's in America. I speculated late last week that Charles Conwell would be really good to get. He's not really the same style as Charlo & is shorter but is high quality. Apparently he's one of them so I was very happy to hear that. I move Timmy's chances of winning up from about 5% to 25% if they can make that happen. If his chances sit at 25%, that just might be enough for him to pull off the upset. With his chances at 5%, you're in minor miracle territory. Sparring with Conwell would make up for the extra 2 or 3 fights Timmy should have had before challenging Charlo. Others mentioned as having been lined up for sparring include D'Mitrius Ballard 21-1-1(13) 6'0, Steve Geffrard 20-3(14) 6'2 & Quincey Williams (amateur). Sounds like a good mix of exactly what's required to me.

    Pretty good line up.

Nice mix of youth, experience and rangy fighters.

Geffrard is an interesting choice. He was disappointing in some respects against Smith Jr as he spent to the last few rounds just trying to survive but in the context of how short notice he took the fight he definitely showed some ability. Does the basics very well and a tight defence.
I think he will be a solid sparring partner but without the risk of injuring Tim with his size advantage, kind of seems like he lacks a bit of mongrel. In this setting that's probably what you want.

I saw on social media Billy Dib just had a cancerous tumor removed from his stomach.

    Wish him a full recovery.

Honestly wonder if the injury sustained in the Ng fight allowed them to pick it up early?

Just saw that O'Connell is paying $4.10 against Bridges. I am pretty surprised by those odds I think I am gonna load up on Shotgun.

Eduardo probably stacking it in Ebanie's favour.

Yeah that is why Eb's is the favorite but I thought Shotgun would only be around the $2.50 mark. Eb's is garbage but Shotgun will need to win every round to get the decision.

    You're a brave man, MP.

I have it on good authority that Ebanie will be bringing the big 'uns.

LOL I don't know if I am missing something but she seriously sucks IMO and she is a horrible person. I really hope Shotgun beats the brakes off her.

Something smells, I think it's the reason it's n England not Aus.
Eddie will have home cooking on high temp for Eboobies. Shannon will need a KO to hopefully win a split decision.

It's another edition of Australia versus The World this weekend. We're playing away in Poland but should get the job done when Jason Whateley crushes the ancient Pole. We're currently leading 4-1 with our only blemish being a loss to jab & grab merchant, Devin Haney (you can let go of him now, Devin). In the interests of fair play, I've decided not to count our victory in the WBO Light Welter mandatory contender eliminator. It all wraps up on 29 January when we go Undisputed again. In the meantime, progress scores & some future fixtures appear below.

    BOXING SCOREBOARD

    Australia - 4
    Dennis Hogan
UD12 Sam Eggington (Great Britain) (IBO Light Middleweight title)
Django Opelu TKO4 Hemi Ahio (New Zealand)
Andrew Moloney UD10 Norbelto Jimenez (Dominican Republic)
Jason Moloney UD12 Nawaphon Kaikanha (Thailand)

    The World - 1
Devin Haney (United States) UD12 Ferocious George Kambosos Jr (Undisputed Lightweight Championship of the World)

    FUTURE FIXTURES

30/10 Jason Whateley v Mateusz Masternak (Poland) - for IBF mandatory contender position at Cruiserweight
4/11 Justis Huni v Kiki Toa Leutele (New Zealand) - Spoiler alert - the Kiwi gets it!
12/11 Stevie Spark v Montana Love (United States) - Spoiler alert - so does the Yankee Doodle!!

    AUSTRALIAN BOXING BLING

Jai Opetaia 22-0 (17) IBF, The Ring & Lineal Cruiserweight Champion of the World
Dennis Hogan 31-4-1 (7) IBO Light Middleweight title *

Ebanie Bridges 8-1 (3) IBF Bantamweight title
Cherneka Johnson 15-1 (6) IBF Super Bantamweight title **

    * shared with Ireland
    ** shared with New Zealand

Yep it easily could of been a big headliner in Australia but Eddie doesn't want Bridges losing so they are just trying to treat Shotgun like a no name opponent. Like you said it stinks of home cooking because Matchroom are trying to make in roads in Australia and this would've been good showcase especially for women's boxing.
