I would have thought the demand was there for this fight but I'm obviously mistaken , thanks for the reply lads . Lucas looking like a trip down to cruiser could be on the cards by looks of him in that photo .

The Hammond opponent Rojas is a power puncher. His only pro loss was 1st ko to Jose Benavidez Jr who lost in Oct to Terence Crawford. Watch the loss its a dubious performance.

Rice vs Wilson . This is what i want to see. A big test for two underdefeated Aussie
fighters. Too bad this wasn't Goodall vs Meehan.

Out of the whole card, the fight I have the most interest in watching is Joe Goodall v TBC.

Jeff Horn is the only guy on the promotion who I'd actually have in my top 10 Australian fighters right now.

To me, that's disappointing for what could & should have been a showcase for Australian boxing.

    It's a good thing it's on a Friday night or I wouldn't be watching.

Take out the main event the card is disappointing when it will cost $ 59 .95.
Only decent fight on paper is Rice vs Wilson. DDP shows are much better value or
the Southport Shark card with 4 Aussie Title fights headed by HW Champ Demsey
Mckean. The DDP Dec 15 Hogan / Murdock double headed is intriguing. It will
be free on Fox Sports and one fighter i want to see is Adam Copland 3 - 0 1 ko.
He is fighting Kiwi no 1 SMW on a 10 fight winning streak with 6 by way of ko
Mose Jr Auimatra. If Copland wins i would like to see a intertstate clash with
    Manly slugger Mateo Tapia 8 - 0 5 ko.

Boxing continues to make a resurgence on Fox Sports. The Usyk vs Bellow was
overall a entertaining card with great atmosphere. Another fight i want to see
live is Lomachencko unification fight in Dec.
    Charlo twins Dec 22 fight.
Good chance this will be shown live on Fox Sports Aust as Fox has a cosy
relationship with PBC and they showed the Adonis Stevenson vs Badou
Jack card and the Charlo double header is being shown on Fox Sports USA.

I don't want to be too negative. We have other guys who are better at that than me.

The standard that ought to apply to a promoter to get his promotion televised live on Foxtel is that it ought to feature at least two of the top ten guys in the country. With at least one of those fights competitively matched & the other being a respectable development fight depending on where the guy's career is at.

If you can't deliver that, sorry, your promotion isn't live television worthy.

The upcoming DDP promotion qualifies as it features Dennis Hogan, a top 5 guy, & Rohan Murdoch who I'd rank equal 10 with Bilal Akkawy as the best Super Middle in the country.

While to me that kind of approach makes sense, it obviously doesn't to Foxtel b/c they wouldn't touch that promotion in Bendigo a while back (despite the fact ESPN in the USA took it) or the DDP promotion earlier in the year that featured a heap of top 10 guys.

At least they've come on board for this latest one.

I guess my point is good promoters who stick their necks out to give decent fights to our best fighters are the ones Foxtel ought to be investing their money in.

In fairness to the Horn v Mundine undercard, Cameron Hammond is talented, so is Joe Goodall & Juppity has mentioned another fight he has an interest in. Frenzie MacKenzie is on the undercard as well so there is something there for fans besides the main event. But when you take into account it's a $60 PPV event & is being put on in a football stadium, I think they could have done a bit better.

I am hoping also Kell Brook vs Michael Zerafa fight will also be televised by Fox. As it is
now a WBA eliminator. An interesting addition to the River Rumble card is Ben Horn.
Ben is the younger brother of Jeff and has worked in Jeff corner.
A interesting piece especially what Ottke has to say.

World rated no 15 LHW Reegan Dessalix in one of Aust ko of the year.

A interesting fact. Reegan only pro loss was to Mose Auimatagi Jr. When
he was caught by a massive overhand right and ko in 90 sec. Mose is
fighting Adam Copeland on the River Rumble undercard.

Steven Marks has had a long and storied career as am & pro, fighting at nat & int levels.
He fought world champs including Dindo Castanares & David Bahari. Some of his
greatest triumphs were not necessarily fights that he won , but fights he continued
despite injuries like a broken arm , cracked sternum and severe blood poisoning.
His will to fight has been tremendous.
Steve retired from pro box in 06 & went on to create a successful business MVF
Boxing , a well appointed boxing & fitness gym in Ridgewood ( Vic ). But the
desire to fight never left Steve and in 2018 , he made the dec to return to the
ring at the age of 44. Unbroken Fighter charts the course of Steve comeback
against the odds of age , fighting far younger opponent's , fighting for glory
that he has wanted for many yrs.

WBO no 6 SMW Rohan Murdock will be taking on his toughest challenge yet when he
faces Argentinian no 11 Rolando Mansilla on Dec 15. This is what stepping up is
all about , a win here puts Murdock into the top 5 in the world and very close to
    a title shot in 2019.
Blake Caparello has called out Reegan Dessalix. At the moment the President is
a bit green for Blake and with his suspect chin. Good to see the next Irish
fighter based in Aust who is going to be the next TJ Doheny in Conor Wallace
( 6 x Nat Champ )return to social media . Conor " would give the two of them
a boxing lesson in one night if they want , forget about dancing. "
Keep a eye on this lad he is 2 -0 2 ko.
Fox Sports announced in the States a deal with PBC. Awesome for Aust
boxing . 10 title fights to be shown live.
    * Subject to change and times and channel announced closer to fight.

Mundine's been conning the Aussie sporting public for 2 decades

Fighting total wellyburgers on PPV and losing to the few genuine world class fighters he has fought

Just looked at his record on boxrec

Cannot see a win against a genuine world class operator when they were in their prime

Ottke, Kessler and Geale, only genuine ones and all losses

Yeah but his main sport was rugby league and he just turned to boxing at 25 yrs of age.
Yes he was/is a con man, I agree. I find it hilarious the mugs out there who have bought his fights after all these years and they still do it.LOL.

With basically all top Aussie fighters you could say "who did they beat that was prime/elite" and the answer would nearly always be - no one. What prime elite level fighters did Danny Grinning Greeny ever beat or Quitter Geales ? Although Greeny did beat Danny Santiago who was a superstar in the States at the time. Fair play to Greeny for that win.

Mundine was a very good league player and a decent international level boxer although not elite and made an absolute fortune from dumb clueless bogan fans.

Bilal Akkaway will fight Mexican Victor Fonseca on the undercard of Canleo
Alvarez vs Rocky Fielding. I mention George Kambosos Jr was with PBC
correction he is will Lou Di Bella.
Luke Boyd 5 - 0 5 ko and Beijing Olympian has been calling out Brock Jarvis.
Boyd won the 122 lb Aus Title over Robert Trigg's stopping him in 6rds. Triggs
recently fought for Aus 118lb Title losing on dec to undedefeated Mark Schleibs.
Brock Jarvis is currently in LA.
One of Aust most exciting boxers Silencer Dee Dee Hobbs has been flying under
the radar and she is current Aust WW and LW Champ with a rec of 7 - 0 5 ko.
She is only a couple fights away from a world title shot. Dee Dee prepares for
her first regional fight Dec 15 and is going all in against NZ Pitbull Baby Namsen.

Andrew Moloney v Cris Paulino on 14 Dec in Perth.

We were speculating a little while ago about which world title he would go after & it looks like he's targeting the WBA belt. He's currently ranked #4 with them.

I think Moloney is our best chance of winning a world title next year.

Hopefully a win in this fight puts him in the frame for an eliminator if not a world title shot.

Needs to get his title shot out here to give himself the best chance of winning. They might need to roll the dice & buy the title shot for him & then hope that he wins so they get a return on investment.

Andrew Maloney has shown a keen interest in facing WBA Champ Khalid Yafai and has stated he would like to fight the Matchroom boxer on a Joshua undercard. Another 115 lb is Filipino IBF Champ Jerwin Ancajas and is known to Aust boxing public as he fought as main support to Horn vs Pacquiao. He was quite clinical and impressive in winning and Yafai looks a better option.
Zac Dunn and Willis Meehan won their fight Sat night. A all Aust HW Title fight with
Willis vs Champ Demsey Mckean would be a rare all southpaw HW clash.
There has been huge demand for Horn vs Mundine tickets .According to promoters
25000 tickets have been sold and on target of more than 30000 .
Tim Tszyu puts his case for Aust fastest handspeed.

Congratulations to Jai Opetia and Dee Dee Hobbs . They have been awarded 2018 ANBF
    fighter 's of the yr.
Liam Wilson has been in Melb preparing for his Aust SFW Title fight with Brent Rice at the River Rumble. The word coming out is both camps are extremely confident and Wilson has been sparring with CMW Games team mates Harry Garryside and Jack Bowen.
DDP showing it how to promote Aus Boxing. There shows keep on getting bigger.
DDP is proactive on social media.

What has happened to Johnny Lewis Star Casino boxing ? It started so promising
and now there is only silence.
At least boxing on regional Aust seems to be going strong and gets TV coverage
and on City TV unless its Horn / Mundine or Paul Gallen is zero.
Willie Nasio he might have limited skill's but he is never in a dull fight or
    gives value for money.

Former NRL Warrior's all time leading try scorer is trying his hand at pro boxing.
He is making his debut on Joshua Parker undercard. Its inevitable as usual a
win will lead to a call for a Paul Gallen clash.
Looks like another Aussie is going all out and headed to Manchester. Alex Leapai
is fighting on the Dillian Whyte vs Derak Chisora undercard Dec 22.
    Gorman is 14 - 0 10 ko.
