Should Huni target Big Daddy when he is healed up? Poor old Lucas has seen a few fights dissipate recently. He will be looking for a cash out fight and he deserves one. Browne got a nice juicy ranking to boot.
One interesting Australian boxing story over the past week that caught my attention has been the "exclusive content" deal between Foxtel / Main Event & No Limit. My question is where does that leave Dean Lonergan & the fighters he promotes like Jai Opetaia & Justis Huni? Are they moving across to No Limit or will they be appearing on a different platform? Has Fast Eddie Hearn pulled a swifty & brought them across to DAZN? I don't have answers to those questions but it will be interesting to find out what's going on. While No Limit are doing a great job, I think it's healthy to have more than one top class promotional outfit on the domestic scene. Also some of No Limit's best talent is about to have the blowtorch applied. If they get knocked off, it will reduce the attractiveness of their promotions. Both Timmy & Liam Wilson fight for world titles in the New Year. Sam Goodman will be fighting over in the US also. No Limit have guys like The Kaboose, Harry Garside & Paulo Aokuso to build up, but I'm interested to find out what's happening with the likes of Justis Huni & Jai Opetaia.
That is a concern to me Sandman. Some of the best Aussie cards in the last 2 years haven't been No Limit. Some young fighters I have a lot of interest in include Dana Coolman, Mateo Tapia and Conor Wallace. Over the ditch Mikhailovich and Pampellone are ones to watch aswell. So many good fighters aren't under the No Limit banner.
I think Pampellone should get some significant fights in the future. AM I'm not so sure about. Seems to be able to lay out low level guys but let's see him in with Zerafa. I think he'll find out real quick about levels. I'd be up for that
Pamps got the pedigree and the no nonsense style that I think can see him move to fringe contender real soon. Despite lacking a real wow factor he is a sum of parts kind of fighter. Drei improving a lot recently but not sold on him either. Just think he could be involved him some exciting cross Tasman rivalries with the likes of Zerafa and Hardman.
I think with Peach the stable all keep in pretty decent shape. Unless he's improved dramatically I think he gets beaten by the likes of Rafa and Hardman. Joel Camalleri vs AM would be a good litmus before Rafa.
Just finished watching "American Pie Wedding" Almost shed a little tear for our good friend stiflers mum. Bet he is up there watching Reg Gasnier and Norm Provan trotting out for the Arch Angel's XIII.
