Maxi Hughes will probably beat him. The WBA have also ordered Lara to defend his title against Zerafa.
I think I'd rather watch Cherneka Johnson on a professional boxing show than any other female fighter I can think of. I think it's a combination of her boxing ability, body shape & smoldering Kiwi good looks. Surprised we're not seeing a lot more of her on our screens. The Australian Boxing Bling Box doesn't discriminate between sanctioning bodies or men's & women's world titles. If the belts are nice & shiny, we collect them. I think Australian boxing is nicely placed to expand our existing haul in the coming months. Coming up: Jason Moloney v Vincent Astrolabio on 13 May for the WBO Bantamweight title. Andrew Moloney v TBA for a Jr Bantamweight world title in May. George Kambosos v Maxi Hughes for the IBO Lightweight title in June. Michael Zerafa v Esquiva Falcao for the IBF Middleweight title (or perhaps Erislandy Lara for the WBA version based on the news above). There's a purse bid for the IBF title fight tonight. Paul Fleming for the IBO Junior Lightweight title (if he wins tonight). In other news, Jai Opetaia (through his management) is trying to get out of his contract with Dean Lonergan. Not a nice situation in that Lonergan has obviously spent a considerable amount of time & money to get him to this point but with his tv deal falling over, Opetaia is looking to pursue other options. Presumably with Fast Eddie Hearn. Speaking of Fast Eddie, Demsey McKean v Joseph Parker is being mooted as the headline act for the next DAZN show. I think Joseph Parker is long overdue for an appearance in this country so I'm slowly warming to the idea of that one. As long as they bring him back afterwards for a fight with Justis Huni.
I think I saw the interview Demsey and he mentioned the possibility of the Matchroom show on May here in Australia. fingers crossed
I have to agree I can't stand Eb's lol Not because of her flaunting her attributes I am cool with that, more so because she is a terrible boxer and has a repulsive personality.
"Hardcore Fighting Championship" may stream it on youtube Middy. It's all in russian, so not sure if its telling you to go to their site or not. This content is protected
I see that Paul Felming v Charly Suarez is available tonight on FiteTV for $30 Waterman v Lucas and Ren Quinlan v Dylan Wright on the undercard at Kevin Betts Stadium Mt Druitt
I shouldve went 20 mins to the stadium & tickets still available however I'm awake 3am every morning so I'll prioritise the couple hours extra sleep. Hoping Fleming gets up, it's a big call to put your own cash on the line & promote yourself
Paul Fleming stopped in the 12th last night whilst well up on the scorecards. Not so surprising when you consider how well credentialed the opponent was & Paul's lack of recent activity & intermittent appearances over a long period of time. After seeing a Filipino get his jaw broken here last week by a bloke who was two weight divisions heavier than him, it's a good win for the Philippines on The Boxing Scoreboard. As for Paul Fleming, coming off a stoppage defeat surely a fight with Liam Wilson (who is also coming off a stoppage defeat) to determine who the best Junior Lightweight in Australia is makes sense when they both have had a chance to recuperate properly & are ready to resume. A win for either launches them straight back into title contention. Disturbing to hear Fleming had to put his own money up to promote the show. That appears to be an unfortunate consequence of the monopoly arrangement on television coverage that Foxtel have seen fit to put in place. Hopefully all parties can see the sense in a Liam Wilson v Paul Fleming headlined show at some point later in the year. Would prefer it to another Brock Jarvis mismatch.

Totally agree and was disappointing to see a rather small crowd in attendance at the show. But I was also surprised that Ben Damon and Jeff Fenech were doing the commentary for the FiteTV broadcast, especially given the exclusivity of No Limit and Fox Sports.
