Yeah I am surprised with the opponent his team must have confidence in him. Respect to Sam Costanza Goodman for stepping up.

No Bling for us from the 2023 IBA World Championships. That's despite the fact a good portion of the world didn't turn up. 20 yo Middleweight Callum Peters lost a 4-3 split decision overnight to a Brazilian that would have netted him (& us) Bronze. The fact that the decision was 4-3 means it finished 3-2 & then got referred to another couple of blokes to look at who decided the other guy won. Shades of Jeff Fenech in 1984. The important thing from this competition was gaining experience & I guess with three fights under his belt, the young bloke did that. Hopefully next time the close one goes our way (as it did with Harry in the Olympics). Sometimes you just need a bit of luck to advance. They should try to line up some sparring for the young bloke with Timmy. He's 5'11 1/2 which is almost Charlo height, has fast hands, good skills & doesn't possess heavy power which makes him ideal for sparring I would have thought. I think he'll have to come down a weight division for the Olympics. Being quite tall & young, maybe he'll go up. There's very little meat on his bones as it is. He's greyhound lean. Jalolov beat Kunkabeyev last night to advance to the semis at SH. 5-0 on points.

Very happy with Teremoana’s effort. He’s going to improve no end.

Watched Dana Coolwell spar Sam Goodman the other day. You’d pay to get into the gym. Quality work.

So, sounds like we were a cunny hair away from Tszyu vs. Zerafa coming off but they fumbled the bag?

I need some a clarification, do any of you know when the Leutele-Long fight took place? As in exact time?

Nothing on Twitter about it, but midnight in New Zealand would've been 8am our time, so probably any league picks made after then at least can safely be called late.

I have mixed feelings about this kid. Anyone balls deep in Neekz gets my admiration and envy.

Forum favourite Paul Kent charged with choking his Mrs. Was probably just attempting a BJJ moved he picked up.

Foxtel and No Limits exclusive TV rights deal has been terrible for the sport in this country. Every card for the next few months is PPV on Kayo/Foxtel. Before the partnership there used to be at least one decent fight free to air every other week or so. Don’t cry Rose Bro’s if I cancel my subscription and stream that ish

Team Zerafa got cold feet. Looks like they're content on taking the step aside money, and waiting for the winner of Lara/Garcia.
