Barry is a legend but he does sometimes sound like someone just walked past him with a slick new haircut.
Agree with all of this except for the Barry Michael comment. I'd rather listen to Barry than the other blokes. In saying that, Barry's getting on & probably isn't far off being put out to pasture. I think he's got a few big shows left in him though. Who will ever forget the classic - "he's in more trouble than a Werribee duck"?
I wonder if they might be better off delaying Nikita's fight with Dylan Biggs? Nikita has just stepped up from 6-rounders & could probably do with getting another 8-rounder under his belt before taking an Australian title shot over 10. Nikita might be better off facing Ben Hussain or Koen Mazoudier over 8 rounds next up & then challenging for the national title first up next year. Not that either Hussain or Mazoudier are push-overs. From a (very) brief look at him, Biggs might have a few additional gears the others don't.
Most of our commentators are terrible. I really can't stand Ben Damon. Fenech isn't so good either. I thought Billy Dib might have been ok but he sucks as well. I can't believe I am saying this but Jeff Horn was probably the best former fighter color commentator.
Hahaha - that could be the biggest wrap Horndog has ever received from you. I preferred Horndog's boxing career to his commentary.
Paul Briggs was a pretty good commentator back in the day but I am sure he is black listed these days. Kambosos has potential to be good on the mic when he retires. I am not sure how that Ted Coffee ever got a run he was a nobody lol.
I think they used to bring Ted in to call the Heavies & Cruisers. I didn't mind him as a commentator except for his habit of scoring a lot of even rounds.
Murray was calling out Leutele before last night. Leutele would destroy him at the moment. I think that Murray needs to get actice maybe even rematch the bloke from last night.
Very good comment. I'd like to see Mazoudier and Hussain go at it again if neither end up fighting Tszyu. Good to see you're still a fan of the local shows Sandman! I'm thinking I might make the journey to the GC for the Tim Tszyu fight.
Well I got proved wrong last night. The little bit that I saw, it was damn good. That Vegas fight was a ripper. I only saw from round 4 or so onwards but it was an absolute cracker. Now from what I saw, I believe Vegas won the bout although I obviously missed the first 3 rounds or so. But in round 4 I reckon that was a 10-8 round and I believe the ref waved it off, but let it go on because the bell had sounded immediately. I'm glad the underdog got up, but I don't reckon he did. Vegas is a great fighter and he'll be back. He's well rounded. And the other dude has a great chin and enormous heart. I saw how Briggs got the W after reading about it. Obviously it's just a tune up fight for Tszyu but comon man. He's fighting a bloke with a 3-6 record. That is the set up wank fest I'm talking about. Anyway credit to him and good for a young 21 year old to be on the spotlight and get a bit of exposure. Nikita will wreck him though. When he was an ex Russian Commando, he killed 16 Czechoslavakian's. And was an interior decorator.

Proven wrong again. Biggs has won me over. Seems like an absolute gentlemen. He's a very talented, very dangerous boxer. I like him.
