You would have to pay me $50 to watch that one Sandman. Hodges won a comfortable decision the journos say. Called out Sonny Bill post fight.
Another 1 round demolition. Paulo destroyed Hannant. JP was certainly one of the better part timers that Gal fought when coming up.
They showed a clip. He looked in bad shape and from the looks of it came in about 10kg heavier than he did against Hodges and Gal. From reports ref let it go way to long, the commentator's were going off about it.
Pangai JR went life and death with a guy that looked like a middleweight with flab and given a majority decision when it looked like a draw. Boxing isn't for him, he will be at the Dolphins next year.
They all count on The Boxing Scoreboard, WAR. To be fair, it sounds like Paulo Aokuso had a nightmare preparation for this fight & carried a broken jaw in. Don't think I've ever heard of anyone doing that before. It was broken in a sparring session with Imam Khataev which makes the story credible. It would also partially explain him missing weight if he couldn't do any sparring & train properly. A win also for Dana Coolwell last night, TKO 7, against Angelo Beltran from the Philippines. That one counts on The Boxing Scoreboard as well. If Channel Nein / Stan had the Coolwell fight on their show & matched the Aokuso boys with recognisable names (like Conor Wallace & Aussie Dave Nyika) they would be able to put on shows worth watching. Michael Zerafa was on commentary last night so perhaps we can look forward to him featuring on Stan in the future.
I managed to watch the last two rounds of Dana’s fight on the gram. Not sure how the fight went before that but he just overwhelmed the exhausted Filo and the poor fella capitulated. The Deadly one is getting a bit of a roll on.
They were wise to pick someone half his size, if it was someone the same size him with an ounce of experience and how easy it was to hit him flush he would of been flat lined in the 1st round.
