Dana boxed really well. Beltran was very dangerous early, loading up hooks. Dana picked him apart and then pressured him on to the ropes and basically stopped him to the body. Big talent.

Liam Pope v Jack Tressider was an absolute firefight while it lasted. Pope stopped him in the fourth. Great little shootout for the Australasian title.

 

Get Danny Santiago back out for a PPV he was a big name in the US

 

Zerafa says he is looking to fight in December. He is 31. Should be in his prime years and hasn't had a single fight this year.

Meanwhile, his 'mate' Tim Tszyu, whom he is always bagging, has fought Harrison, Ocampo and next Mendoza, all this year.

• October 27 - November 1 – Cologne Boxing World Cup (Cologne, Germany)
• November 15-24 – Domestic preparation camp (Brisbane, Australia)
• November 25 – Depart for Solomon Islands
  A development squad will join the Pacific Games team in Germany for the beginning of the training camp. This squad consists of categorised athletes and those that delivered performances of note in the eyes of the National Coaches at the 2023 Elite Nationals in Perth. Male Pacific Games team members will not compete at the Cologne Boxing World Cup, due to risks with the event falling inside the 30-day period prior to Pacific Games.
  
  We held a 14-day multi-nations training and sparring camp at the AIS in September, partnering with the Philippines national team and an Indian club team. This activity concluded the National Program Activities as part of the Pacific Games Selection process which has now seen 13 athletes, four coaches and a physio selected by the AOC to the 2023 Pacific Games Team to compete in Honiara in November.

 

Tszyu-Mendoza is early afternoon Sunday. Main event likely to be around 2pm Melb/Syd time.
