    Indeed mate.

Shocker of a performance that Ngannou bout. Looked like a gypsy camp fighter.

Christmas Eve is leaving it a bit late for the Stifler's Mum thread Christmas Bonus, but okay. I guess I can spend it during the Boxing Day sales. Miller looked convincing against Big Daddy.

Yeah I thought the odds might be a bit shorter on Usyk after Fury's last performance. I still favor Fury myself I think the Ngannou fight might have been the humbling that he needed. Fury has a big ego and I reckon he will be coming for blood against Usyk. Both guys have an incredible will to win. I think that Fury is going to big man him rough him up and get the stoppage. Fury will use some dirty tactics and there will be a lot of tears.

Boxing Day sales or a night out on New Years Eve might be the way to go. Maybe a fancy dinner on Wooloomooloo Wharf.

Australia's amateur boxers, looking for that golden ticket ticket to the Paris 2024, will be heading off to the Solomon Islands next week for the 2023 Pacific Games, a major qualifier event for the Olympics.

I see Jackson Murray got up in his fight in the US yesterday. Glad to see him back in the game, thought he had potential before stopping for a while. Obviously struggled in his last fight with Masters but now that he's had a few rounds, he'll likely be at his best going forward now.

Yeah now that I thought about it too they want as much people going there as possible, obviously. If they announce Goodman people might save their time and money for that fight as opposed to Nikita. I think they might have had some difficulty in selling tickets but I can't be sure.

Sandman only just noticed that Vic Darchiniyan is your display pic? Great fighter. I thought he would have beaten that Ghanian back in 2009. Lights out performance the fight before. Then again, I didn't know a great deal about boxing back then.

Yes, mate. It's Vic. I've been very lucky as a boxing fan in this country. I've been able to follow the careers of three A-level fighters one after the other - Jeff Fenech, King Kostya & Vic Darchinyan. Vic is often the forgotten A-level fighter, but not by me. We've never had the breadth & depth of talent we do currently but it remains to be seen whether any of them can climb as high as Jeffrey 4-time, King Kostya & Vic.

    Nice mate. Good work.

Vic was a gun. That clubbing left hook. ****. Dynamite boxer. High iq as well. I really enjoyed his fights. '' The Raging Bull ''

Just watched the fight on the tube.

Jackson looked a lot better than his last fight. Maybe another camp and fight in the states against a similar level of opponent will have him ready to take some bigger challenges back at home.

He still a bit clumsy with his feet and his positioning at times. But he was a late starter in the am’s and he is mostly an instinctive fighter, rather than well schooled. It’s worked pretty well for him.
His jab was stingy especially later on in the fight. Good weapon for him used correctly.
He got clipped a few times, maybe was buzzed once. But he didn’t seem to panic like he has before, rode them well and held and smothered when he needed to.

Derrick Harmon in his corner was a big bonus. Looks like he got Murray in good shape, because he was constantly moving for the 6 rounds and never looked spent. Harmon gave him a clear and basic gameplan to help him bank the 6 rounds pretty comfortably.

His opponent wasn’t much chop though. I think the Boss and Kiki would be to much for Jackson, Kiki especially.
