That neither rules him in or out as an opponent for Tim in early March. He would have been up against it facing Tim without a fight under his belt in 2023. I'm hoping Tim's opponent is Erickson Lubin & we hear something on Wednesday night.
It would make things very tight though for Ortiz. 8 weeks is razor thin at that level and if he gets into a real scrap then you may even see any proposed date with Tim delayed. Lubin makes more sense for Tim anyway. He'll belt Lubin senseless but Lubin is a bigger name, has a top 5 ranking and is coming off a win over another fairly big name. I mean, he's cannon-fodder for Tim but it just looks better on the CV for the champ.
What a ridiculous farce this argument about who walks out last is turning into. Latest rumour is the fight is in jeopardy. WTF!
There's always a manufactured controversy to generate some publicity for the fight. Nothing to worry about. As if either of them cares who comes out first.
I get the feeling they might care but I agree it is probably being played up in order to generate some publicity.
Nah that's bs. A publicity stunt No way that happens. They both want the cash, especially Biggs. WWE Stunt.
TBH guys I don't know what to believe any more. I've heard and seen some serious bs in my time. Some Melrose Place type ****. This content is protected Sorry couldn't resist.
Looking over on the Ticketek website, and it seems that they are plenty of seats still available for Wed night. Cant really see the ppv tracking any better, especially at $60
I've noticed No limit love a stupid narrative going into fight week. Fairly common place. Gives Fox News something to report since the actual sport is just a side show to them.
