Breaking news on The Stifler's Mum thread! Apparently Erickson Lubin has pulled out of negotiations to face King Timmy. As a southpaw, he would have been a good lead-in fight to Bud Crawford. Unfortunately, the Doodles run like rabbits when confronted with the prospect of a good old-fashioned Australian arse-kicking. The Doodles will pull out every trick in the book to enable Crawford to take King Timmy's 'O'. That includes keeping him inactive in the lead-up. King Timmy should definitely take another fight before facing Crawford. Do what they don't want - go in fight-sharpened & primed to take the P4P crown. Maybe give that kid Vergil Ortiz a crack. Out here if need be.

Looks like Spence doesn’t want the rematch with Crawford. If we get Tim v Bud in May I’m good with that as Bud will have been even more inactive and he is the older man Tim could be getting him at the perfect time.
I think Sam's team should be happy enough that Inoue is looking in another direction. Going by the WBO ratings (and a lot can change obviously), if Inoue dusts off Neary and then vacates, Sam might end up facing TJ Doheny for the vacant WBO strap. Current WBO Ratings: Champ Inoue 1.
