Sherro shouldn't be sanctioned, full stop. How many times does he have to be knocked out before someone steps in and saves him from himself? 17 and counting...
Yep agreed and disappointed with Aokuso he has done nothing of note since leaving No Limit. I thought his plan was to break Jeff Fenech's record?
It's Austin Aokuso who is fighting Les......not Paulo But agreed, Paulo's done very little since parting ways with No Limit
Oi, how good's the Huni kid? Very nice amateur pedigree... Also what is the "P." for in JPH, anyone know? I've tried some of the common ones - Justis Paul Huni, Justis Patrick Huni, Justis Pelle Huni (as he's part Dutch) etc - but no hits yet.
He's very talented. Good amateur experience, very quick (both hands & feet) & is physically strong. Downsides are he's got no momentum as a professional (due to hand injuries which have sidelined him more than once), hasn't been stopping guys like he should be (it's as much to do with lack of finishing technique than solely punching power, imo) & perhaps most significantly of all for his long-term future, has been badly hurt in two of his last three. Needs several fights against lesser lights to start notching up the wins & (hopefully) kayos.
Aokuso v Sherrington isn't happening. On another note, this fight is being broadcast into pubs and clubs. You can check the venues at: SportsPick.com.au
Will be interesting to see how much of a crowd they get there for the Tasman show, especially considering it's on the Thursday night and there is another show on across the river the same night.
From what I'm told, it's going pretty well. Plenty of tables sold and GAs a going really well as they're $69.
JPH is still only 25. Young for a heavyweight and he certainly has time on his side for further improvement. On the downside, he does seem to be a bit on the fragile side.
Huni is a pup and he's been matched tougher than just about any Heavyweight I can think of in his first 10 fights. Sure he was hurt against Lerena. So was Daniel Dubois. Huni got through it. He will continue to improve, he's got a bright future for mine.
Harry Garsides paying like $14. Makes me wonder if the risk reward of dumping his Professional career is worth it. Time will tell
