Callum Peters very unlucky I thought. Lost a 3-2 split decision. The other guy was severely out of gas for the last 2 rounds, spat the mouthpiece out & held excessively. I thought we should have got that one.
Haha would be hilarious if Murray used that intro for his ring walk. Grach better hope that Murray doesn't turn into The Ders on fight night or he is in big trouble. This content is protected
Losing our best batsman last night to a dud LBW decision was hard to take. 50 Calibre blasted the fur hat off that Kazakh but a young Australian beating a reigning world champ in the first round of the Olympics wasn't in the script. The European referee issued multiple warnings to the Kazakh for pushing, holding & general unruly behaviour but didn't have the gumption to take a point. We went 0 and 3 last night as a consequence. That was the bad news. The good news is we've got another three taking middle & leg at the crease tonight, including serious medal contender Caitlin Parker. With 50 Calibre getting the rough end of the pineapple last night, we also need one of our blokes to step up & go through to the next round. Charlie Senior, in particular, has the international experience to put himself in contention for a medal. Batting order for tonight: 7:32pm AEST Shannan Davey (Men's Light Middleweight) v Bulgaria 8:36pm AEST Caitlin Parker (Women's Middleweight) v Mexico 11:46pm AEST Charlie Senior (Men's Featherweight) v Belgium
Davey outclassed by a far more experienced opponent. Never stopped moving forward even though he was probably bottom of the tourney. Landed the shot of the bout in round 2
Great victory for Charlie Senior. (4-1) Worth watching. Quality Performance like that must boost Seniors standing
Btw, this is for anybody that missed Teremoana vs. Lovchynski https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/993056303
Yep he was brutally KO'd by 43 year old Mundine 6 years ago I don't see him lasting long with the much younger Zerafa.
Koen Mazoudier said Zerafa personally told him he was too much of a risk. Take words with a grain of salt but that's the wrap Zerafa gets around the scene. If he doesn't think he can beat a domestic level Mazoudier (with all due respect) then he is stealing a living as a pro fighter. This content is protected
