You think I'm ducking responding to this rot about Horn cherry picking opponents, adding Malignaggi and Tszyu who likely were never options and based solely on hearsay from stories with no credibility?
His opponents so far have been not dissimilar to the quality of opponents others have taken in there path getting to the top, including a voluntary defense against top 10 ranked Corcoran before defending against 1 of the best current P4P fighters Crawford
The Mundine fight was the right fight at the right time especially due to the easy money Mundine offered on his path to fighting for this middleweight title.

Malignaggi was not here say, Paulie said it himself on his podcast the Magic Hour. And Horn's mate Grantlee Kieza was the one writing about wanting to fight Tszyu junior
LOL Cocoran was a total bum anybody disputing this is deluded
Why did Horn and his scumbags insist on weight draining 43 year old Mundine but are now planning to campaign at middleweight now to fight Brant?
LOL Horn wasn't the slightest bit competitive with Crawford he lost every second of the fight and Crawford didn't even get out of second gear.
Horn's supposed path to the top as you call it has been similar to con man Danny Green fighting over the hill fighters using dirty tactics and severe weight draining of opponents.

Paulie says a lot of things that idiots like you with no idea like to eat up which is why he tries to keep inserting himself into situations he has no business in.
Corcoran despite what you or anybody thinks was ranked in the top 10 when they fought and is far more credible then some world title challengers.
Mundines so called weight drain doesn't really deserve a response and is wrong like most of what you say on here lol, apart from his fight against Green most of fights were at junior middle and middle which is what his fight with Horn was at.

Paulie is regarded as one of the most knowledgeable pundits in boxing and is greatly respected among his peers so you discrediting him shows what an idiot you are. If you think that weight draining an having re hydration clause for a 43 year old shot fighter doesn't deserve a response then I don't know what to say LOL. Bums like Cocoran being in the top 10 of any organisation is one of the many things wrong with the sport of boxing.

I'm a fan of Paulie as a commentator and while he may be 1 of the more knowledgeable ones that doesn't mean he won't say what he needs and wants when it comes to keeping himself in the headlines to try get himself a money fight despite being well past it.
I'm not interested in any further discussions with you as you have a deluded opinion and bias that won't ever change despite evidence smacking you in the face, proving over and over again how little you actually know.

LOL you are not interested in further discussion because you are getting thoroughly owned. You question the credentials of experts like Paulie & Teddy Atlas yet you can't answer a simple question in naming one legit fighter not past his best that Jeff Horn has actually beat? You sweep all things you don't want to address under the rug like the robbery of Pacquiao and the severe weight draining of Mundine. You sound completely deluded when in comes to Horn but I am not surprised that you are one of these idiots who believe everything written by the Australian media. You are pathetic and not a real boxing fan. You will never have the boxing knowledge I do pal. It is a shame you won't admit this because you could learn a lot from me if you asked the right questions.

I think AJ would come from behind to KO him eventually.

But the real question is could Joshua cart up the Steeden for 80 mins averaging 150 plus run metres and 28 tackles a match whilst wingeing to the ref every 2nd break in play?

    * Jai Opetia is getting some good sparring as he prepares for his March 22 clash in Belgium. Opetai sparred 14 rds with three different fighters at Final Round Gym Hoxton Park.
    * Ipswich Aust HW Champ Demsey Mckean and Gold Coast Aust LW Champ Jacob Ng both travelled to Penrith as they prepare for their March 16 Title defenses at Southpark Sharks . Mckean a ex MMA fighter sparred boxing with World ranked UFC HW Bam Bam Tuivasa and Ng with former World ranked LW Kye Mackenzie.
    * Brock Jarvis seems to be taking the Kye Mackenzie route to a world top 5 ranking. Win a regional title against some hapless Asian fighter , pay sanctioning fees , defend the title a couple of times against D class and then all of a sudden a top 15 , then top ten , then a top 5 world ranking.
Jarvis had great difficult making the weight and at only 21 and 5'7 his future will be most likely at 122 and even 126 lbs.
    * Willis Meehan ko 1 at Melb Pavilion. His opponent was 42. Meehan keeps on calling out AM rival Joe Goodall. But this type of opponent doesn't get anybody attention all give you experience.
    * Joshua Jenkins vs Blake Travers for the vacant Aust SMW Title was slated for the Jarvis undercard but now this fight will take place on the 18th May at East Cessnock Bowling Club.

Interesting watching those two Junior Middles today, Castano & Lara. They're good, but not that good. It's a strong division but it would be nice if we could produce someone who is capable of winning a belt at that level. The talent is quite evenly disbursed so there will be opportunities if you're good enough.

I think the four blokes we have at that weight are decent & it will be interesting to see how things play out for them this year. Horn to have a world title shot at Middleweight, Dennis Hogan to challenge Mexican Mungo & then perhaps the likes of Tim Tszyu & Michael Zerafa to pursue fights with them (and each other) later in the year.

What I'd really like to see is Horn & Hogan have their title shots in the first half of this year & for Tszyu and Zerafa to fight mid-year.

Then let's see the winner of Tszyu v Zerafa in with Horn & the loser in with Dennis Hogan. All really good, attractive domestic fights & no-one is out the back door if they happen to lose. The end result would be to produce a fighter who is close to being ready for a title shot at 154 & who would actually stand a decent chance of winning.

Junior Middle is our strongest weight division but if our fighters are to make the most of it they actually need to face each other. And if they don't face each other they will come up short when they have to face the best the world has to offer.
