Any news on Vegas Larfield? He has been quiet since his loss Sept last year.

Scheduled to fight a 0-2 fighter this weekend. Had some hope for this young prospect. Watch and wait I suppose.

I'm interested to see how Kiwi Kalani Marra goes on the Neutral Corner Promotions card on Friday.

Jai Opetaia's camp have bid for a Gold Coast world boxing title defence they hope will earn "Australian boxing's Steve Irwin" the respect he deserves at home.

The Gold Coast-based 29-year-old moved to 26-0 with a comprehensive sixth-round stoppage of Jack Massey in Saudi Arabia last month to defend his IBF and The Ring cruiserweight titles.

That fight was approved by the IBF on the promise he would then take on the body's mandatory challenger Huseyin Cinkara.

The duel's location will be decided by a purse bid, manager and Tasman Fighters boss Mick Francis telling AAP he has booked the Gold Coast Convention Centre for January 8.

Marra looked good scoring a 2nd round stoppage over late replacement Joe Kara.

Lemony snicket is a bit of a wild card. Probably should be fighting our Liam.

I didn’t watch it in its entirety but sounds like he got robbed blind in his last fight whilst looking a bit underwhelming probably from inactivity.

I think he will be fired up to take this out of the hands of the judges.
Keyshawn isn’t the most liked prospect on this forum. I do agree he is pretty overrated but not as much as some think he is.

Does anyone know when the purse bid deadline is for Jai's next fight?

My fellow Aussie lads I know this weekend is a circus fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul but I am sure as hardcore boxing fans like me you are having your mates all ask you your opinion on this fight. If everything is above board I really don't know what to expect but I have put $20 on Mike by KO in round 2. My reasoning is because it is only 2min rounds that in the first they will be posturing Mike will be bobbing and weaving looking for an opening and if he is a chance to win he will explode in round 2 and take Jake out.
At least that is what I am hoping for lol. I could also see them just flopping all over each other and holding for the 8 rounds.

What are your thoughts if any?

I think Tyson hits him in the head early & kayos him. If I was betting which round, I would say the first.

Btw, if anyone is able to bet this fight at the TAB can you say so here? Just curious if they're taking bets on it.
