Phumelela Cafu will be defending his WBO World Super Flyweight title on May 24th in South Africa.
While no opponent has been determined yet for Cafu, after negotiations for him to face Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez fell apart, Andrew Moloney has raised his hand to challenge Cafu for his title.

Did Blake Caparello get any type of ban following the Nyika fallout? I saw fought yesterday.

You know what that sort of got memory holed. I can't even see anything reported after the event.

Tonga Tongotongo vs. Kirra Ruston is a solid upgrade.

I'm also looking forward to the Brandon Grach vs. Liam Talivaa rematch & the upcoming Joel Taylor vs. Jake Wyllie fight.

    Good question.

Caparello failed a VADA test for elevated testosterone levels in about the first week of September and it seemed to just go radio silent.

His return fight was the 8th of March, which was 6 months later. 6 month ban?

I have a sneaking suspicion that Hemi Ahio might be on the Kambosos vs. Yordan card. Teremoana Jnr is on the undercard as well, it would be great if they matched these two up (I doubt they will but they should). If Ahio is on the card he'll probably fight someone like Troy Pilcher, although I think Pilcher priced himself out.

    'You can't fake greatness'

True that. But is Thurman great at 36 after 37 months of inactivity? Will Jarvis ever be great? Or at least good enough tomorrow night to beat this version of Thurman?

Surely Thurman starts favourite and carries the smart money.

Not a bad card tomorrow night, all things considered.

Jarvis versus the advanced age and inactive Thurman could produce an upset. Hopefully it makes for a good fight but although Thurman hasn't stopped anyone since 2015, I can't help thinking he might take Jarvis out early.

Is this a banana skin fight for the far from active at the top level, Zerafa? It shouldn't be, but where is he really placed these days? A loss would certainly be extremely damaging.

Nice to see the babelicious Linn Sandstrom included on the undercard too.

Thurman has been hilarious since he has been here this is a rare time I am going for a Yank over an Aussie I don’t really care for Jarvis he seems like a bit of a knob.

Yeah I didn’t trust Zerafa enough to put him in my multi even his last fight with Browne was over in one round I thought he looked terrible.

Read that Fenech has met up with Thurman and has expressed concern Jarvis might get hurt tomorrow night.

    Amen
If Linn was President of the United States, her name would be Babeham Lincoln

Oddly enough, I find myself looking forward to tonight's fights. Will be interesting to see if there's an upset or two. I can't see Brock beating Keef, but he is offensively capable & has a good engine so who knows. He's going to need to land something big early. Micky Z needs rounds but when he gets them the risk of him losing increases exponentially. The fight I'm looking forward to most is Mateo Tapia v Sergei Vorobev. Vorobev is who I would have brought Tim Tszyu back against. We haven't seen his best out here yet but Tapia looked vulnerable in his last fight so perhaps Vorobev can step it up for this one. Even though he didn't win either of them, I quite liked his fights against Wes Capper & Wade Ryan. Fighting those two gives him a really authentic Australian boxing experience. Will be interested to see how he goes.
