    * Aust best hope HW Justis Huni for Tokyo continues to impress. At the prestigious GeeBee Int Tournament in Helsinki where 15 nations were competing Huni reached the finals. But in the semi final a head clashed meant Aust boxing coach Mark Wilson had no option but to pull him out of the finals. Still the 19 yr old Huni is still undefeated as a senior.

The semi final where a head clash meant the fight was stopped and the fight went to scorecards.

    * Fri March 22 at East Leagues Club big punching LHW Aaron Lai ( only fight to stop Wade Ryan ) fights a Indonesian opponent. Darragh Foley fighting and former Bra Boy and MMA fighter Richie Vaculik making his pro debut as a LW.
    * Aust 130 lb Champ Jackson England last Fri night fight cancelled at Metro City after suffering complications after having appendix removed. England expected to return to Metro City Thunderdome 30 May 17.
    * On that same Fri night Timorese based Aust WW Steve Gago moved to 10 - 0 after defeating his Indonesian opponent by dec. Gago fights next month in Silk Road Final Macau . A win will give Gago a world ranking.
    * This Sat March 16 Fox 507 from 12 pm to 3.00 pm AEST
IBF 130 lb Champ Tevin Farmer vs Jono Carroll.
    Katie Taylor vs Rosie Volante.
    * At the moment it seems Spence vs Garcia not on PPV on Sun March 17.

Heard good things about Huni. Hasn't he got a little brother that is pretty handy himself?

George Kambosos Jr is now world ranked in two division's.
Wonder is he having weight problems as GK is best suited to 135 lbs as he is not a big LW
    LW WBA no 6 .
    JW WBA no 13 .

Very disappointing. The other guy wouldn't come to Australia to fight & has now pulled out with a week to go with a runny nose.

I agree with Juppity & the Outlaw. Opetaia should move on & forget about fighting in other guys' backyards in Europe.

The big problem of course is that there doesn't appear to be any money behind him to make the fights he needs here in Australia.

The opponents are there for him to advance his career: Mark Flanagan, Blake Caparello & David Light. Someone needs to come up with the money to pay them though.

    * Wonder is this the right move ?

    * Sakio Bika vs Lionel Thompson postponed possibly until April 23. Added frustration for Scorpion who has now numerous dates broken during an 18 mth spell.
    * A debut to watch for March 23. A former Muay Thai World Champion making his pro debut at 154 lbs.

I'm okay with Tim Tszyu signing with Top Rank if the deal makes sense.

They can get him decent opponents & promote him in the US.

Some fights & training camps over in the US is fine although I also think Junior Tszyu has unfinished business here in Australia in terms of his development as a professional fighter.

A couple of decent 10-rounders plus Michael Zerafa & maybe Dennis Hogan or Jeff Horn are fights I want to see.

The type of opponent I would like to see Tszyu in with next is someone like Wale Omotoso or Ray Robinson. Really solid, well credentialed professionals (albeit inactive).

They would take Tszyu the distance, give him problems but b/c of their inactivity, be vulnerable enough that Tszyu can get past them after being tested.

Tim Tszyu will be tested in his next few Fight's , that will give us an indication of how good Tim can box .
