Not that I’m buying it, but Kris Terzievski v Troy Pilcher should be interesting tomorrow night.

Gallen has announced his retirement too.

Good, closes the door on SBW trying to get a rematch. Not that he probably would. Took him 10 years to finally do this fight.

Pedro should stay away from Terzievski.

Yep Kris T has gone up a level. Pedro v Curtis Scott would be fun.

Pedro beating Kris atm would be like Dragons beating the Doggies this evening.

I actually picked St George lol. I'm at that point in the tipping comp I need an upset to take me up a few places.

I’m not doing so well either in the tips but I played my Joker this round and am 3 from 3 so far I backed the Sharkies last night the Brailey kid is seriously the best hooker in the comp ATM. I tipped the doggies but will be happy if the Dragons win. The dogs are going with the Galvin kid over Sexton so maybe that might **** them up a bit hopefully haha.

According to Steve Perios Tszyu camp with take a six month hiatus and a potential move to 160lb is a possibility that will be discussed. I though hope he retires as he nothing to prove and always gave his best.

Steve's interview was pretty insightful. The guy obviously understands the game and isn't just a wanky ring announcer.

Commiserations to King Timmy & Team. Congratulations to Beanstalk. I think we knew he was a real one when he beat Daniel Lewis quite some time ago. That was a fight I wanted for the King on the way up but Beanstalk was the beneficiary of it. I quite enjoyed yesterday's fight. The King was in trouble early but his fights with Wade Ryan & Terrell Gausha showed he could come back from being sat on his backside. When he had Beanstalk flatfooted & exchanging in close in the 7th I thought the tide was turning but Beanstalk finished the round well to seal the win. As for King Timmy's performance, probably not enough time rebuilding in terms of wins (a win streak of one wasn't enough momentum to carry into a big fight on the other side of the world). I also thought he was one good sparring partner short in terms of his preparation out here. The American import was decent enough but maybe one more higher-level guy would have been useful. Tim did things his way though which was to take the toughest, most exciting fights on offer. That means thrills & spills. Unfortunately, in the end, it was another spill. Where to from here for Tim? A campaign at Middleweight? Apparently he made the weight okay which would suggest Junior Middle is where he belongs. No problem testing the water one division up though. Where to for Australian boxing? We need to hope Jai lands the unification fights at Cruiserweight. We also have an opportunity to make some history at the World Boxing Championships in Liverpool in September. I think our women are up for it. Hopefully the men can measure up & we get a breakthrough performance there.

We need some new drawcards. Hoping Tasman Fighters & Fast Eddie can build Teremoana up. Given he's never been past three rounds they understandably can't rush things there. No Limit will endeavour to build up Callum Peters. That's where a gold medal from a major championships would be useful in terms of promotion. Others will get pushed hard but the journey to the pointy end will be long & winding. Winter is here.

Fundora really is a force of nature and is ridiculously under rated by many simply because he has a loss on his record.

He has been an absolute nightmare to everyone he has fought, bar Mendoza and unless you land an absolute bomb on him, flush like Mendoza did and then efficiently finish him off, he will just carve you up.

Fundora has always been able to land on his opponent from the next postcode because of his reach and is equally hard to land on because of his height, but the scariest thing is, he is still improving. The authority in his punches against Tszyu was another level compared to what we have seen from him previously and although Tszyu was able at times to wear three or four punches in order to get close enough to land one and even turn Fundora's head with some of those shots, Fundora wasn't fazed and just continued with his domination. I'm not expecting another Fundora loss anytime soon. He's a beast!

Tim really needs to take a break and reassess his career now. Another title shot may be beyond him now - it would certainly take a few meaningful wins to put him back in the frame - and I hate to say it but he may be better off settling for a big dollar fight with Zerafa.

Tim's corner not stopping the first Fundora fight when the cut occurred really changed the whole trajectory of his career. It's easy now for the seppo's who he had badly shook when he was on the come up to put the boot in now and say he was never any good when they know full well that is not right.

That was stupidity at its best allowing the first bout to continue. Disgraceful performance from everybody from the referee, the ring doctor and the donkeys in his corner. All of who's priority was meant to be Tszyu's safety.
