Another No Limit Joey Spencer cannon fodder to impress the casuals. A more legit opponent would be Ballarat based WBC Asia 154lb Champ Victor Nagbe who is now WBC no 17.

There's a bit to look forward to between now & the end of the year. Nikita will headline twice I reckon. Against the Euro & then Brock Jarvis. Will set him up for next year after a year out.

King Timmy will return against pantomime villain Micky Z who tunes up within the fortnight on the same show as Nikita.

Jai will close out the year by making his mandatory against a middle-aged German sauerkraut salesman. The excitement on the Stifler's Mum thread for that one is palpable.

Next weekend we've got Sam Goodman fighting for a world title at featherweight & Andrew Moloney in a world title eliminator at Super Fly. Both on the road so any win will be a good one.

Next month we will attempt to make history at the World Boxing Championships. If you reckon professional boxing officials give our guys a hard time on the road, you should see what our amateurs have to contend with when they fight overseas. Two of five judges will have filled out their scorecards before the fight takes place. We've got three serious gold medal contenders. I confidently predict at least one of them will break through to hear the national anthem at a major tournament for the very first time. One of the young blokes could pick up a minor medal also. Full preview to appear right here before the tournament begins.

Hoping to see Teremoana back in action sooner rather than later. Thought he was due out this month but he's been cracking coconuts in the Cook Islands instead. I think he's been declared a deity over there so we might have some trouble getting him back.

I thought Hearn said he wanted Teremoana to fight 8 times this year, he is a little behind that number atm.

Oh cool, do you know him or were just chatting?

I'm just a bit selfish in wanting him to move ahead of Jalolov in the pro scene as I'm still a bit sour about the Olympics.

Yeh, I want to see him and Jalolov cross paths in the pros, and Pero and Torrez in the mix.
