Boxing scoreboard this week - Australia 2, Team Doodle Dandy 0.

The Phoenix UD10 Anthony Velazquez - First launch & test flight successful. To be upgraded from Block 1 to Block 2 for next outing. Needs to have been successfully test flown at Block 3 configuration before a world title mission is attempted.

Kaye Scott MD10 Olivia Curry - One judge didn't get the memo that it was supposed to be scored fairly this time. Wins unified WBC & WBA World Middleweight titles. The professional world championships go with her two silver medals from IBA world championships in 2016 & 2023. Two professional world championships & two IBA world championship medals is a lot of bling for one person to bring.

I always thought Kaye Scott might have left the pro career too late, especially after the past two results. Show how much I know about the Women's ranks.

Hoping Nikita takes out the trash, but if not... that will be a huge domestic "avenge thy kin" type of fight. Also Nikitas stock looking pretty good right now with Briggs' recent run.

Would like to see a rubber match between Kaye Scott (WBC & WBA Middleweight champ) & Desley Robinson (IBF & WBO Middleweight champ) for the Undisputed Middleweight Championship. It's not like either of them are afraid of facing the other.

Would give us a second Undisputed world champ before overseas money inevitably takes the belts off us. Would be a crowning achievement (literally & figuratively) for one of these women. Hopefully a local promoter can put it on next up.

I suspect both of them could earn a hell of a lot more money overseas, but I agree, from an Aussie Boxing History it would be tremendous.

Contrast in styles this one. O'Connell polished but past prime these days. Dargin raw, aggressive and not too many miles on the clock. Promises to be very willing but I think O'Connell will have too much experience and ring smarts for Dargin.

O'Connell still has some ring craft. That might get her over the line. O'Connell is calling out a rematch with Ebanie Bridges. Bet that loss is stinging

    Mateo Tapia vs Dylan Biggs

Who takes this one between two young but established Aussie middleweights?

Biggs just had a great run in that tournament. Tapia been a bit inactive but is still ranked by at least one sanctioning body I believe.
