Read that the contract between 'Big' Nelson Asofa-Solomona and the Rose brothers is for 9 fights over 3 years.

There is already talk he will fight George Burgess. Other names also being mentioned.

Hope he lives up to the hype.

 

9 fights is a big commitment especially for someone who hasn’t fought before. From the footage I have seen he looks bang average on the mitts. I hope he can prove me wrong though.

My opinion, big NAS isn’t really interested in developing into a boxer. Just a money grab he will call out NRL players past and present. I mean talking about George Burgess who has no boxing chops at all… that would be a horrible fight to watch. Daily Telegraph will write articles in the lead up about how George was a handy amateur in the north of England blah blah, we’ve seen this playbook before… so unfortunately we will probably never know if NAS would be a decent boxer…

 

Being reported that Jai Opetaia has now signed with Dana White's Zuffa Boxing.
Will be interesting to see what happens from here

Looks like it’s back to being a stripper or getting a job as a PT.

Who are Gold Star and what service do they actually provide for him?

 

Gold Star is Spencer Brown's company who look after Tyson Fury, Hamzah Sheeraz, Agit Kabayel and plenty of others. They've been working with TF over the past few years, seeking opportunities for our fighters.

 

Ippy, are Tasman still looking at doing a show in March/April with Stan Sports?
