Rankings aren't based solely on a fighter's best win.

you are quite right, rankings are decided on who the fighter has fought and unfortunately Diaz has fought absolutely Nobody of any note. A dodgy Euro title means very little, except to the WBO.

 

No Limit consistently finds tomato cans for Aussie fighters to fight. They could sell ice to Eskimos.

 

The WBO rankings mean something to them. The BoxRec rankings mean nothing to anyone.

 

They mean something to Boxrec

 

Yeah, if you are looking to challenge for the BoxRec title they are all important.

 

Cairo born Aussie, Mai Soliman just landed a dream bout. Announced to fight WBO Flyweight champ Mizuki Hiruta. On the Usyk Rico under card in Egypt.

Hopefully the card goes ahead....

 

Now there's a reason for us to hope that card goes ahead.

Mai Soliman has been impressive in her brief career, so far. Highlighted by her come from behind stoppage of Jazzy Parr.

Hiruta will be a step up in class and is a bloody southpaw as well.

 

Well mate we will just have to wait until they fight, then we will see who was closer to the mark, WBO rank 15 or Boxrec rank 115.
