Personally I don't think it'll be that big a statement, Sobol's record is very mediocre. They should have just fed Money Max Mikhailovich who I think is on the same card.
It's a difficult one to call, because it's not like he's got an overconfident but inexperienced opponent this time like the previous two. Also Spence hasn't fought in public for years and will have an early advantage of surprise, like Verhoeven did. So we have an idea of Tim's strengths, weaknesses and likely strategy, but virtually nothing of Spence except conjecture. This should be a classic, talked about for years.
I think Spence will come out jabbing maybe even win the first round but I think Tim is going to hurt him with the first serious shot he lands.
Hopefully his defense is better under Fenech's watch. (Is it a Rolex?) They have Johnny Lewis consulting as well do they not? That will be a major advantage for Tim.
Who knows if Spence's power will even carry up in weight he was an enormous weight bully at 147. I think that Tim is going to man handle him.
Hoping you're right. Tim is a powerful bloke and he doesn't mind a wrestle, plus he is said to be pizzed at Spence. Harrison had a few digs that were answered in the ring. Who is going to be in Newcastle? Thinking of it.
I think it wil be either at the venue where he fought Harrison Kudos Arena or in Gold Coast. Go if you can why not.
Blast from the past. Romesh Fernando. Anyone remember him? Commonwealth games rep x 2. I thought he'd be a good pro or Olympian but only had 1 pro fight. I don't know what happened but seems like wasted talent. We've had a lot of good guys go through our system.
I don’t agree. Ukrainian champion and was winning the only fight he’s lost. Boxes well and has a bit of power in his shots. Happy to punch with his opponent. Keeps his head on the line though which may well be his undoing. Very handy operator and a challenge for a kid who’s only had ten starts as a pro and a relatively short amateur career. We will know plenty about McIntyre after this one. I think he gets it done.
