Sorry but that's a flawed comparison IMO. Jai and his team have had shitty luck hence the several let downs. Tim and his team are looking to fight Judah. I like Tim, I don't like the Judah fight.
Next up 10 x 3 @ welterweight Jack Brubaker v Ty Telford. R1 - Very close round. Telford can fight. 10-9 Brubaker but could have gone the other way. R2 - Another very close round. Thought Telford scored a kd from a body shot. Ruled a slip. No replay. 10-9 Telford. R3 - Telford fighting in explosive bursts very effectively. I prefer Brubaker's steady work. 10-9 Brubaker. R4 - Really tough, close fight despite how I'm scoring it. 10-9 Brubaker but it's not one-sided. R5 - Brutal fight. Commentators giving rounds to Telford. I feel like he should have won some but sorry, another Brubaker round for mine. 10-9 Brubaker. R6 - 10-9 Telford. My sense of things is it's very close. R7 - 10-9 Telford. Getting through with some eye-catching clean shots. R8 - Nfi who won that one. 10-9 Brubaker. The commentators have pretty much scored all the rounds opposite to what I have. R9 - Huge Telford round. Clear 10-9, maybe 10-8 without a kd. R10 - I thought Brubaker had the better of that last one. 10-9 Brubaker. 96-94 Brubaker on my scorecard. Won't be surprised if it goes the other way. The commentators reckon Telford. Official result - split draw (only the drawn scorecard 95-95 was announced, the other two scorecards were split between each fighter but the actual scores weren't announced).
I always thought a split draw was one judge had one specific fighter winning and another judge had the other fighter winning and the third judge scored it even ..
It's Tool Time guys! Junior Tszyu is in the ring! 10 x 3 minute rounds for the Australian Junior Middleweight title. Joel "Cama KO" Camilleri v Tim "The Toolman" Tszyu R1 - 10-9 Tszyu. Camilleri busy, nice right hand at the end of the round. Tszyu landed the more precise punches. R2 - 10-9 Tszyu. Tszyu cut badly from a punch. Camilleri landing some hard right hands. Tszyu not in control but won the round on my card. R3 - 10-9 Camilleri. Tszyu unsettled. Camilleri very awkward. Could have gone to Tszyu but I gave it to the champ. R4 - 10-9 Tszyu. Camilleri doing a good job of spoiling & he looks strong but just isn't landing enough to win the round. R5 - 10-9 Tszyu. Camilleri is winging that right hand & lands it occasionally. Some good punches landed by Tszyu. Solid exchanges both ways. R6 - 10-9 Tszyu. Tszyu is a little bit faster & more precise with his punches. Camilleri still dangerous. R7 - 10-9 Camilleri. Probably a Tszyu round but I gave it to Cama for applying steady pressure. R8 - 10-9 Tszyu. Could have gone to Camilleri. He's very strong & tough. R9 - 10-9 Tszyu. Tim the Toolman landed the cleaner shots. Camilleri never hurt. R10 - 10-9 Tszyu. Tszyu's best round of the fight. Landed lots of hard, clean punches. Took none in return. 98-92 Tszyu on my scorecard. Official scores - 99-91, 98-92, 99-91 UD - New Australian Junior Middleweight Champ - Tim The Toolman Tszyu.
Credit to Navosa Ioata for taking the fight on short notice and not coming to lie down. Was hoping he'd get through unscathed for his NZ title fight with Lance Bryant but it looks like that will have to be put off for now.
No thats bull**** you can try break it down how you want but Jai has had more fights including as an amateur and has fought worse competition yet due to Tszyu name he is held at a higher standard
You have so much to learn why don't you try watching and listening instead of repeating your mates nonsense comparisons
No it's well established that you know **** all which is why pretty much only the same 1-2 people ever agree with your garbage and I got the exact reply I was expecting from a clueless biased fan, which is fine just stop pretending your not
I was at the fights last night. Tszyu Jnr had a tough fight Camo was tough and awkward I thought Tszyu won maybe 7-3 it took him 5 rounds to adjust to Camo's style. The Brubaker fight was entertaining two evenly matched limited guys giving their all. The Justin Hodges fight was a disgrace I am sure there are blokes on this forum that would have given Hodges a better fight.
Mundine was held to a higher standard and he was sparking guys out who were at a higher level than what Tszyu Jnr has been fighting yet he was given crap by everyone saying he was fighting bums and Mundine had virtually no amatuer career. Tszyu is making a lot more money than Jai so why shouldn't he be held to a higher standard like Mundine was?
