    Not really no. They all get on great and are trying to win gold for themselves and their country. Politics doesn't come into it.

    Outside of the swimming and cycling teams, and perhaps Sally Pearson, Damien Hooper is one of our best overall medal chances.

    Bit more about the team;

    http://m.london2012.olympics.com.au...boxing-contingent-set-for-london-games/mobile

    In women's boxing the Aussie team for the world championship in China next month is;

    Kirsty Harris 45-48 kg
    Bianca Elmir 48-51 kg
    Cherneka Johnson 51-54 kg
    Skye Nicolson 54-57 kg
    Jessica Retallack 57-64 kg
    Shelley Watts 60-64 kg
    Kaye Scott 64-69 kg
    Naomi Fischer-Rasmussen 69-75 kg

    Hopefully the girls have a strong impact at the worlds in May and we get a full team qualify for London!!!

    You would expect Cuba to still pick up a gold or 2, but from what i have heard they aint as strong as some of the past great Cuban Olympic boxing teams.

    IMO I think jai opitia can use these games ,if he isn't successful to the next games , he is only young and bursting with talent.. Will only be just 17 at the games .. If he stays as a amateur he can achieve big things

    Seen him fight at the com games trials where he destroyed and made his

    He has time on his side...another 4 years of international experience and another Olympic games under his belt would do him well if he decided to turn pro.

    Supposedly 91kg isn't particularly strong this year...that being said he would be really achieving something special if he could even make it out of the first round.
