Lalonde was far from elite but he was also better than average, the dude could punch and his awkrardness was effective against many fighters.

I don't know where McNeeley really was, I'm just saying labeling a fighter "average" is pretty subjective when fighters who are say, top 20 in their division are so frequently called "bums".

I give McNeeley more credit than some of Tyson's other opponents. At least he came right at Tyson and tried to do some damage. He was just hopelessly outmatched.

Guys like Seldon looked for a nice soft spot on the canvas to lie on after being hit with a gust of wind.
