I think his under 200 weights were before the cruiserweight limit was raised or were cruiserweight contests.

Cruisers generally cut to make weight which leads to very few guys under 200 fighting heavyweights these days.

 

Deplorable lack of road work and sparring compared to pre 12 round limit is why these fat young men are so heavy

 

And going to all you can eat, and seeing it as a challenge.
