Avetik Abrahamyan vs. Patrick Nielsen & Nieky Holzken vs. Bernard Donfack RBR.

Abraham is 274 old in what we know as boxing years, having been around since the invention of the quill pen.

 

Nielsen actually got a card, 115-113, but Abraham won the other two with matching 116-112 cards. Twitter seems to think it was a robbery but I’m not sure how you could say that. I don’t think Nielsen did enough to win, especially when you know you’re going to be dealing with German judges

 

I can understand Nielsen firing more punches (mainly landing on gloves and arms) confusing the twitter crowd a bit, but I'm surprised that a judge (in Germany nonetheless) gave it to him. Though neither looked impressive in that bout.

As mentioned earlier I'm a Dane myself and I scored it 115-113 Abraham. Could be wrong obviously, but I'm definitely not bothering with re-watching and re-scoring

 

The german commentators had Nielsen winning and wanted to ask him if he thouhht the 116:111 cards were too wide. It was pretty clear though Nielsen wouldnt get the decision if he doesnt dominate Abraham.

 

Another robbery here in germany. Abraham needs to retire. Nielsen won 7-5 or 8-4 imo

 

Abraham has really had a hell of a great career. He should get serious consideration for the IBHOF when he is done.
