    He needs a radical change in tactics to beat degale. Hands down chin hanging up to dry is going to **** him up. I think fight up close and work the body. He is a superb body puncher.
    Will he be able to cope with degale constantly changing the angle, shooting a long right jab and staying out of range? I see George chasing this fight and getting caught far too often coming in the same way anyone else has fighting degale

    Gentleman George imo opinion needs to be cautious pick his shots otherwise he will go exactly the same way as Smith chase the fight and get worn down by crisp counters.

    Bodywork is crucial needs to try and slow Degale down and switch from head to body maybe wind Degale up a bit put him off of his rhythm tough to see what George can do with the tools at his disposal to change how he fights that could really put Degale in trouble imo

    I agree mate, if he chases the fight degale will pick him to pieces. He needs to be patient. Degale will give him opportunities to back him to the ropes, but he needs to be effective with him work.
    I just have this feeling that Gentleman George will want to throw bombs. He's got away against his current opposition with coming in with straight left jabs and right hands over the top, degale won't be the stationary target he's used to.
    He needs a smart plan, I don't know if booth can give him it

    Is this fight happening too early it is it good because it potentially set up some kind of trilogy to be completed over the tears?

    Not happening too early if they are good enough they will fight again if not they fought and proved who was best on the way up.

    Its a great time for these two to meet, IMHO people who were crying out for it to happen 12 months ago were being a bit unrealistic though.

    Timing couldn't be better. I've a feeling Gentleman George is more up for it than I first thought - I think it's a genuine 50/50 though.
