Two days ago, Garth Wood scored one of the biggest upsets of the year, when he knocked out Anthony Mundine in the 5th round.

The BoxRec robot clearly found this impressive, and dumped 210 ranking points on Wood... making him the 10th best Super Middleweight in the World!

That's ahead of Librado Andrade and Sakio Bika, guys - to name but two recognizable names.

    BoxRec rules sometimes.

Many credible writers had Mayweather #1 after the Mosley fight. Apparently, Pacquiao defeating a fighter who was not a top 200 P4P'er vaulted him back on top.

    So no, not "nuff said"...

they have Dirrell at No.2 whilst Froch and Ward and 3 and 4!?!?!

didn't froch beat dirrell - robbery or not,

i still don't get why Bute is first, on recorch he hasn't fought great boxers, froch ward and kessler have won bigger fights, but this is not saying bute is bad, i'm a big fan bt the rankings don't make any sense

Boxrec has S. Martinez outside the top five (before the Williams fight, outside the top 15)... B. Hop in the top 5. Felix Sturm in the top 20 and Donaire no where to be seen... I only look at them for results and schedules.......... They suck at rankings... period

Mamasupra and Hot Dog are the credible writers that put Floyd on the #1 spot.
