Since it looks like both brothers will be fighting in the summer of 09 i'd like to see Haye vs. Klitschko and Arreola vs. Klitschko on the same fight card and in the same arena. Double main event! I know this isn't going to happen for obvious reasons and such but that would be a hell of a card and better than any other I've seen in quite some time. :) I wish there was a way to make this happen.

well it would be a great way to get public interest back into heavyweight boxing especially with goldenboy and hbo playing a part in promoting and it would do a **** load of ppv buys so its possible it could work but like you said for obvious reasons greed being one it wont happen

I'll tell you why this won't happen. The brothers act like insurance for one another and they wouldn't want a situation in which both might lose in a single night.

Better to have them defend their titles one at a time -- that way if one loses, the other can try to regain the belt and exact revenge. But if Arreola and Haye each landed a lucky punch on the Klitchko's in a single night? Nightmare for the brothers. They'd never take that chance.

They won't happen in the same country, probably not the same continent. Klitschko v Arreola could happen in Germany or the US. Haye v Vitali in the US would make no sense whatsoever.

For them to both make sense on the same card it would have to be in Germany. Even then, having two cards makes a lot more financially.
