    Granted. That was a shameful ref. job and for this reason only: The guy wasn't firing back. If you guys remember Mancini/chacon, Bobby was actually firing back but choosing his shots carefully. He was actually aiming unlike Ray and tryin' to find a shot that could give him space. Theres gotta be a balance involved because way to many fights are stopped early.

    It's "natural conclusion" was to either stop the fight once he was clearly unable to adequately defend himself, or call a KD once the only thing holding him up was the ropes.

    Actually wondered if there was a referee in the ring at all till the very end.

    And you wonder why the sport gets a bad name!!
