I believe AJ has just found his perfect size and weight, it was always going to take time, he looks faster, sharper, powerful and isn't losing too much of his size. How this effects him in fights.. we will see Saturday night but he looks in great shape. The "Robotic" claims were not completely wrong, I believe a lot of I think came down to huge pressure and lack of experience, he seemed to tighten up, go a little tense, sometimes force things and it didn't suit him, his style or help him let his natural athleticism and ability surface. But the more experienced he has gained at top level the more relaxed he looks, the more relaxed he looks the more everything just flows and he looks more fluid and more natural. AJ might revert back to being "robotic" in high stakes fights or against fighters who pose a serious threat, he may well tense up, I believe Ruiz isn't a gimme although AJ should win but he might do it again once he gets under the lights on his "Big US Debut" against a fighter he is an overwhelming favourite against. we will see. AJ told everybody that the likes Fury and Wilder should have taken a fight with him earlier because he will just get better, now I don't think he'll get much better technically but he will find a "ideal weight" and he will gain valuable experience that will make him a much more dangerous and complete fighter. Fury and Wilder missed a trick in my opinion, AJ will get better the more experience he gets, the more he relaxes and let's things just flow.
