    awkward often = brilliant

    - I can understand Ward - seems to have good defence on the inside and very athletic meaning he can quickly come in with punches and get out.

    - Hatton found Maussa with a devastatiog left hook - but can remember Hatton finding it hard to impress until that KO in one of the later rounds.

    Beat me to it.

I can't believe Chris Byrd hasn't been mentioned.

I remember Ike Ibeabuchi being interviewed a few days after stopping him and saying that after a few rounds of not being able to hit him on the chin, he just started throwing punches everywhere - head, arms, shoulder, chest, gut, legs... he thought that eventually he'd land something. And he was right.

VK would probably by my number 1 pick, cause I think VK has the potential to beat an elite level HW, where as I think guys like Froch, whilst being a better fighter than his technical skills would have you believe, is not capable of beating an elite level SMW imo.

Put it this way, I would give VK more of a chance against someone like Tyson, than I would Froch against someone like Jones, Toney.

Hamed was somewhat awkward, but I guess you would have to say his power was a significant part of the fighter he was.

Lots of good examples. Not many I'd quibble with. I'll just throw Camacho out there as well.
