He didn't KO him, and it wasn't with ease either. And now you say beat into submission? 9+ rounds of flinchy/feinty? You guys exagerrate WAY to much.

 

I guess when McCline said that Wlad hit him harder with both of his hands, than anyone he has ever fought, including Lewis in sparring. I guess McCline was just lying as well. I guess McCline must have been a little more impressed with Wlad's punches... considering that he was the one eating them. (Oxygen Deprivation alone)

It doesn't matter what happened in the first 9 rounds... what matters is the end of the fight. First of all, yes.... Wlad did beat McCline easily. McCline was scared shitless after he tasted Wlad's power in the first couple rounds. Wlad took his time and found his opening to end the fight in the 10th. He caught him with a huge left hook, McCline was hurt, and Wlad went in for the kill... put him down... and when the round ended, McCline wasn't even responding to his corner. They stopped the fight. Stop trying to find cute little ways to discredit everything he has done, it makes you look pathetic.

 

McCline had no agenda. Steward does. Steward knows that Wlad owns Peter and he is simply creating a buzz for the fight. Obviously, it works on guys like you.

Even if he does think that Peter hit harder... who cares? You can hit as hard as you want... but being effective with those punches is another story. Wlad has shown in his career to be a much more effective, and dangerous puncher. Which is why he has a higher knockout percentage, against a much higher level of comp.

Steward's agenda would be to hype a fight between Peter and his fighter, Wlad. Directly after Wlad's fight last week, he said that the only fight he was interested in as a fan, was Wlad vs Valuev. That none of the other heavyweights could really challenge Wlad. Last night, he said that as a fan, the only fight that he is interested in is Wlad vs Peter. And that Peter would be a dangerous opponent. After Wlad's fight with Byrd, Manny said that there isn't anyone who can beat Wlad. Nobody who is currently fighting, and nobody coming up through the ams. He could be Champion as long as he wanted.

Get the point? HE IS HYPING FIGHTS! Just like any smart trainer would. Create a buzz, and help create a bigger payday.
