Yes, but when the clinch was broken, Ali found a way to throw and land not just effective punches, but some of the most beautiful shots the division has ever seen. Your 6'7 hero has become afraid to throw.

Seriously, I don't really have that big of an axe to grind with Klitschko. Outside the ring, he's a model human being. Inside, he's just the best of a crop of utterly forgettable big men. But I cringe at defending Klitschko the fighter with Ali references of any kind. The disparity in skill and general boxing acumen is beyond embarassing.

I think as someone with 9K+ posts that deep down, you must understand this, but I also realize how blinding a message board pissing contest can become. Time to towel off the **** and froth.

Holding is illegal. KLIT holds...if the ref doesn't break the hold, I don't give a **** if his opponent kicks him in the nuts. If a ref can't keep a fight clean, fight dirty back. Not that Sam does this, but if he did it would be fine.

First of all, you are confusing threads. Second, I already said that Wlad nailed Peter with some good shots. However, I also said that he really didn't sit down on most of those shots, like he does in most of his knockouts.

Examples. Here are the big rights from Klitschko in that fight. Notice how he isn't putting his body weight into them. He is fighting smart and looking to go onto the defense and protect from a counter.

Even the left hook that had Peter on ***** street... Wlad was clearly leaping backwards and moving away. He was simply fighting smart.

I'm not gonna go over basic rules again dude. Get it from someone else here. They'll tell you the same thing. Someone who doesn't have Waldo's nuts in their mouth, preferably.

Oh get off your soap box. Don't give him the back of the head and he won't hit it. There you go. Problem solved.

Hey John Ruiz made Kirk Johnson hit him low by jumping in the air everytime Johnson threw a body shot. Do you defend that nefarious ****, too?

Your wrong about the difference in WLAD's punches, although there is one.

It's not that WLAD didn't sit down, it's that Peter didn't sit down.:smoke

I didn't mix up threads, I quoted you.

You said that I started this thread by saying that Wlad didn't sit down on his punches. That wasn't this thread... that was the one about Peter's chin.

Man, don't you get tired of seeing me be right?:D

For god's sake... Peter has been hitting people behind the head in EVERY FIGHT. You act like this was an isolated incident or something.

Peter fans should be careful or they just might see Vitali or Vlad knock Peter out!!!!!!! Anyone who knows anything about boxing knows that Peter is not in the same class as Klitschkos. Vitali can force a fight with Peter, Vlad can't. Don King and Peter would not commit tonight to HBO. Why am I not surprised?

I might get tired of it, if it ever happened.

I didn't say you started the thread, this current exchange.

...and yes this exchange has gone into a couple of simillar threads.

It isn't, because when they feel Sam's right hand they all turn and run. And this creates the situation.

The punch that he got warned for against Toney was similar. Toney tried to duck way under Sam's output after being rocked by a clean right hand. And Sam, having to punch way down, ended up firing off a shot that hit Toney in the back of his head.

It's a strategy that every opponent of Sam Peter attempts now. Look at what Maskaev was trying to do. The same thing. Draw cheap fouls and try to win the "fight" rather than winning the fight. In a way I'm glad that cheapo Maskaev caught a flush right hand complaining to the ref. That was an instant classic.

I think oleg spent to much time with his glove behind the head act to show when he was hit behind the head, that's what started Peters run when Oleg was doing that peter got a shot in and then it snowballed from there.

Don't worry Farmy. Soon, Peter will face one of the Klitschko brothers, and then, after his humiliating defeat, THE BIGOTS WILL BE EXPOSED!

Don't worry, one of the perpetual Klitschko haters here who have lost one too many bets on his fights will be happy to think one or two up for you. Well, they have to get Sam Peter's nuts of their forehead first.

See the last few posters in this thread for a start. :yep
