65-35 is bull****, should be 50/50 based on that the first fight was a robbery.
I hope its in canada, put it on the undercard of pascal or bute

I don't think Aydin wants this fight, I don't think he even see's himself winning it. What happened to Aydin vs Mike Jones anyway? I thought that was on for later this year? I guess the WBC ruled that Jo Jo Dan/Aydin II had to happen or something? :huh

 

Really look forward to this one. Dan really impressed me, I loved his style of boxing, throwing punches in bunches.
I was really disappointed Dan never got the verdict, he looked a clear winner to me.

I felt after that fight that Dan would prove to be the dark horse of the WWs but he hasnt had the limelight I felt he deserved.
Theres not many WWs I would favour over Dan, and I think he is high risk low reward. Fair play to Aydin having the rematch

 

I think they want jojo dan to become mandatory, they have been keeping aydin waiting for a long time, berto avoided him and ortiz is now facing mayweather, if floyd wins he will never get his shot at that belt. when dan wins they can make him wait for a while, plus the first fight called for a rematch.

if Berto ever fought Aydin everyone would complain (even more) about how he only fights bums...I love how people act like he was avoiding Aydin because he was a challenge or something, he sucks and brought nothing to the table.

 

and freddy fernandez did? fighting his mandatory at that point was more logical, he choose fernandez over aydin, then ortiz who just drew with peterson at 140, Eventhough I dont mind how thinks turned out and believe jojo dan won a champ should face the mandatory challenger.

 

that's exactly my point...he (Aydin) is a Freddy Hernadez caliber of opponent. If Berto beats this guy (Aydin), than he beat an obscure, unknown, handpicked opponent again. He wouldv'e never gotten credit for it, but since he didn't do it he gets criticized for it. Ortiz is a far better fight than Aydin IMO. And the draw was BS, Ortiz had racked up a couple of nice wins against a few faded veterans prior to the Berto fight.

 

This fight should be on the Bute-johnson undercard , Ibox should put some money to have the fight in QC city!

 

I dont think highly of aydin either, he has nice power but thats about it, a fight between him and maidana at 147 would be fun imo.
But my point is that facing mandatory challangers is important for almost anyone except the ppv superstars I think, they should make the most exciting fights possible.
Fighting aydin would have been better than fernandez because of his position in the ranking. But its not something that will be hold against berto in the long run because of his level.
