Irusta gave Basualdo the first and Kreps the second.

 

The local Niagara gal (in the black outfit and white gloves) is looking perplexed by the Argentine lefty journeywoman (who is coming off an unsuccessful challenge of Ségolène Lefebvre for the WBA Gold title).

Kreps is attacking in straight lines, with her legs and hands. Basualdo is undulating, bobbing while circling, and tossing a mixture of hooks and overhands.

Irusta has it 39-37 for Basualdo at the halfway mark.

 

Basualdo starting to dominate, backfoot counter right hooks can't miss.

There have been a couple of questionable decisions on this card...this will by far be the worst if they give it to Kreps.

The only justification I could see judges using to reach to give her rounds is that she's "walking forward"...but she's walking forward and getting absolutely belted. Over & over.

"La Profeta" earned this.

Alright, time for our main event... a rematch nearly two years in the making that was originally scheduled for 388 days ago.

Funny enough, Villar vs. Astuvilca II was a pickable bout in Kirk's League back in October 2024 (before it was scrapped when René Santiago subbed in for Villar) but no more in October 2025.

Of course, both men have lost since then, so the overall stakes can be said to have depreciated.

When they first met, in December of 2023, Astuvilca traveled from Peru to Panama to lose a UD to Villar in a tightly contested war.

I like the Peruvian's double shovels downstairs with either hand.

 

An unfortunate amount of clinching. A good deal more than you typically see down at this end of the scales.
