Was spoken about after Azeez's win on Saturday. Who wins if these two fight? Would be a crossroads fight for Arthur. If he loses, would need quite a lot of rebuilding to get to Commonwealth/European level.
Arthur didn't want to be in the ring against Yarde during the rematch. Rumours are that he will be fighting Callum Smith in March which won't end well for him. Azeez has already beaten domestic fighters in Charlie Duffield, Lawrence Osekue, Ricky Summers, Hosea Burton, Shakkan Pitters, Cartwright, and Rocky Fielding. I think he would beat Arthur and Yarde too. He is 33 though so I hope he gets a big money fight before he ages.
I like Azeez, but he is a level below Yarde talent wise and is taylor made for him. He would get overpowered and possibly stopped late. As for Arthur IF he has his head on straight and approaches the fight with the correct game plan, I would tip him to beat Dan on a close points decision.
100%. Yarde has been in there with a much better level of opposition and has given a good account of himself. The acid test for Azeez will be when he fights above domestic level fighters.
