Combination punching with your chin in the air isn’t a great idea when your opponent has his feet set and is looking to land a bomb.
He's also only had 2 KOs according to boxrec from roughly 50 fights on there, so it doesn't bode too well from that perspective. Hassan Azim did look quite badly hurt also, even walking to the ref afterwards he didn't look great.
Yeah Popov is a very skilled talented boxer, but not known for power or knockouts. Plus it's with headgear. Azim seems to be packing glass for sure. Not a good look for his pro career
